the problem may be that I lowered his pitcher ratings quite a bit and made him a relief pitcher.. his overall rating was 72 but didnt touch hitting. I went ahead and bumped his pitching stats to make him a 92 but kept him at relief. theyve still been using Heyward.. grrComment

hey so this season Ive been blown out a hand full of times, my team ERA is like 4.5 and Im 27th in the league. Dont wanna change anything cuz it's better than the alternative of blowing the CPU away, which I fear any little change will end up that way. but this past week against weak offenses really been getting crushed, and I noticed, not sure if it is new, literally every single pitch release is very late. any idea why?Comment

I honestly don't know how much weight that "timing release" has on pitching since we use Classic Pitching. I mostly just tap the X button when I pitch and I sometimes get late or early. So I would think it is random if it is late or early. Because if you just tap, you would think it would be the same every time.
I think it is just a bad stretch and all your pitchers have low confidence. You could lower CPU contact by 1 or raise User Consistency up 1 if you want to tame their offense a little.Follow me on Twitch

Yea maybe. But a month long for every batter at the same time seems odd. Also have a ton of balls hit with good timing that are right down the middle that just get popped up. It’s a weird little run. I’ll keep an eye on it and see if it changes up at all. There wasn’t any game updates or anything right?Comment

They haven't updated any game settings in quite a long time so it's probably just a slump or your team in general. A few months ago I had a similar very long team slump and then broke out of it.
I definitely get what you're saying but really these kinds of scenarios are randomly built in to the game so it's not always predictable. I've had guys that aren't very good attribute-wise, have fantastic seasons, and great players not be great.
I also know that slumping causes me to tend to be very aggressive at hitting, which makes the slump worse.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

They really are a great set of sliders. I just recently switched over to CFB. After playing every single pitch for 50 game or so. Then file got corrupted. I started a new franchise with my Phillies. Worked out great lol. I'm currently in first place with a really good Phillies roster. So I'm having a better season. But It hasn't been easy. I have to finish it before 25. Anyway thanks
