I have been struggling as well. I did have a couple of good games hitting on HOF with contact at 6 and power down to 4. Last game I had 13 hits with 2 HR, 3 doubles.

My biggest issue was it was either homerun or nothing. If I was hitting that good pitch, it was a homerun.

I had to lower my pitch speed as well.

What did they do to this game? I played 4 games today in my Reds season. Neither team can score now. I hit 5 balls perfect/perfect and they were all routine pop outs. The ball isn’t coming off the bat at all.
      My scores are below.
      Lost 1-0. Lost 2-1. Won 2-0. Lost 3-2.

I am going to do a Braves franchise to go along with the Mets and I will give feedback from that one too.

Finally got to start my season with my Phillies. Lost 2 of 3 to the Braves. They hit 4 Hrs in the 3 games. So far so good for me. The changes I made are CPU contact at 6. Cpu solid hits at 6. Player contact at 7 lol.

Using this for my RTTS playthrough, quite happy with how they are working out, perhaps CPU batting average and number of hits per game is a bit high(around 9-14 per game each team), but overall I see a decent number of HRs, Doubles and pitcher performance.

I really like user power at 4. I see less 3+ homer games which is dope. I also like the fielding sliders, opens up more gaps to get a better variety of hits.

Hey sorry quick question! This includes all hit balls including fouls ? So around 5 line drives total yes ?

I don’t think it includes fouls.

Anyone want to take the Oakland A's and just have fun with them and try to win in the big leagues?

The A's are basically a triple A team playing in the big leagues.

You could even put them in a brand new stadium.

If I don't do that this season I might do it when The Show 25 comes out. I may not get around to that this year.

Why redraft a team when you have a ready made triple A team for you.

You can just get rid of the budgets so you can make whatever sensible moves you need to make.

Going to make some changes and make a version 2. These were tested a lot and we feel confident in these. I have the explanations below.

Human Contact: moving from 5 to 6. I was seeing too many homeruns. This will help with hit variety. We were seeing homerun or weak contact.

Human Power: moving from 5 to 4. This will go good with the higher contact open up the variety.

                            Human Pitcher Control: 4
Human Pitcher Consistency: 3 (this will help with giving the CPU more meatballs).

CPU Contact: moving from 7 to 6. We were seeing high batting average but not enough damage. It was mostly singles. With the lower consistency they will mash the mistakes.

                            Global settings
FLD Speed and Reaction: moving from 5 to 4. This will open up the field.

                            IF Arm Strength: 2
Baserunner Speed: 3 (this will help prevent the runners from trying to stretch a single to a double and be out by a mile. You will still see fast runners beat out infield singles. With the lower IF arm strength, it is harder to get double plays.

Errors: this will get more errors.
IF and OF Fielding Errors: 7
                            IF Throwing Errors: 7
                            OF Throwing Errors: 5

I hope you guys enjoy these new changes. If version 1 is working for you, you can keep using that.

I agree with these changes. I think I might keep the human pitching the same because it is challenging enough with the Mets.

But the rest seem legitimate to me. The fielding sliders are always good and always work to make the game challenging enough.
