That is correct, I always use Cy's roster.... Works great with the boys sliders here!

Last year, I don't know if it was because I was using the Braves or what but I was hitting everything hard on Allstar and I raised it to HOF and went default. Steve still uses Allstar. I will actually post the Allstar set up that he uses.

The OP is updated with a User Hitting Allstar set.

The only difference is the contact is at 5 and timing is at 0.

          Re: S & B’s MLB 2024 HOF Simulation Sliders

Started up a new franchise with my Phillies (they kept calling me back) and was curious to see how things would play out with power lowered to 4, but I hit three homers. 2 from Schwarber and one from Marsh.

I see no issues with this after just one game, though. There was a good variety of hits throughout for both teams, and I was able to week out the win with a tense save situation in the ninth.

Looking forward to playing more games with this set.

Would you tweak anything if someone wanted to use Zone hitting and Meter pitching?

I like the look of these sliders and the replies back them up!

I just personally like to use Zone hitting & Meter pitching (I’m average at best at both) but I like the ability to hit a Perfect-Perfect HR with someone like a Victor Scott II who has like 25-30ish power.

I’m doing a Cards franchise and I’m just worried the team might be too good hitting wise when in reality they’re pretty mid

It is nice to see the homeruns with power at 4. Glad you enjoy them. Let us know if anything sticks out to you or needs fixed.

I would think they would work fine with those settings. I don't think there is a slider that would help you square the ball up or hit the ball using zone. The timing part of hitting is the same as timing or zone. You have to have good timing either way. The only difference is zone, is you have to pick a zone where timing does that for you. So the power slider should work the same.

For pitching, they should work fine. You might have to lower control and consistency if you find yourself hitting your spots too often.

Thoughts on Fielder React to 3?

Honestly, it drives me nuts how Outfielder's get to EVERYTHING.

We do have fielder speed at 3. Reaction is more for infielders. Are you feeling the OF get to too many balls with it at 3?

I started a franchise with the Twins last night and traded Buxton for relief help and Duren from the Red Sox. Didn't matter. I beat the Royals 13-10 and had 27 hits.

I think a lot of this offensive onslaught had to do with the Royals having a terrible bullpen, but I still hit four homeruns. Still, it's just one game.

I might up the computer's pitching control and maybe lower contact or power by one? Would love some thoughts.

OP has 4/4.. Version 2 that is.

I've been playing mostly DD so far.... But I know outfielders getting to everything has always been an issue.... Maybe it's just me?

It is only one game so I would wait a couple more games to see if it continues. You should play at least 10 games but if you are feeling it is too easy to hit you can make a change. I would maybe raise CPU consistency to 6 if you feel you get too many meatballs.

You could lower contact back to 5 for another option.

I would try fielder speed at 3. We have that in 3.0.
