I am officially moving pitch speed down to 6. You are right in that it just feels better. I play as the Yankees and Phillies and should be better offensively than I am. On 6 I can actually get walks and lower my strikeouts.

I feel like pitch speed has increased since the game came out. 7 felt great the first couple months but it is a little too fast now

Are you or anyone using these utilizing the swing influence? I’m not sure if it helps or hinders my offense really. Then again I’m not really sure I know how to utilize it properly lol

I don’t, just press “x”. Very rarely I have tried influencing trying to hit a fly ball (holding L3 up), looking for a sac fly, but I don’t really see much of a difference. I have also tried using power swing on 3-0 counts with a power hitter up to bat, but don’t have very good results. So I keep things very simple - just press “x”

If you have a power, pull hitter, it most certainly increases your chances of hitting a home run. I don't think there's much debate about that.

Back to 7. After 6 more games on 6 I find I am simply hitting too well - and hitting too many homeruns. Just not feeling as challenged as I would like. Actually starting my franchises over and keeping it at 7

Just played first game of my Washington Nationals franchise with these sliders. Wish my stream would work but I need to wait for my new computer to come in because it was a masterpiece. Against the Phillies, Gore threw a complete game shutout. 3 hits, 1 walk and 12 strikeouts. Amazing game. I was setting up pitches beautifully.

It took me a long time to realize that using up and down works far better for me than right and left.

When I am intentionally sitting in a pitch 0-0, 2-0, 3-1 (and the rare green light on 3-0) with a premier power hitter I actually postion the stick 10-11 o'clock ish for RHH and 1-2 o’clock ish for a LHH.

Works fantastic to launch a ball into the seats when you barrel it up.

Hitting on 25 is absolutely sublime.
