I have Cubs and Braves 26 man done for right now. Played a few exhibition games and Chipper Jones is a freaking monster. Guys are going to find him difficult to pitch to the way this game has been playing.

Gamer start testing your exhibition games with the following adjustments:

Starter Stamina 8
Relief Stamina 5
Manager Hook 3

Once the starter is pulled set hook back to 5

You have some third world problems here my friend! That 1080 must be unbearable for you.

Yeah that probably sounds like an a-hole complaint thinking about it ha. It truly is crazy the difference that a TV can make though. I never really noticed it until now.

Agreed....once I went to 4K HDR...anything else seems...blurry LOL.

Love as much "dice-roll" outcomes as possible in my franchise.

Been thinking about trade deadline season and how I want to handle that.

Initial thoughts are to go in and update all 30 clubs trade blocks on July 15. (basing it on buyers, sellers, upcoming arb eligible stars, pending FA's, positional needs etc. etc.)

Then jump back in on July 28, 29, 30, and 31 and start making league-wide deals (based on the same criteria).

What I don't know is how to go about it to make it fair for all clubs?

Random.org is my go to, but how do I determine the order of teams to start submitting trade offers etc., and how to determine if a team accepts or rejects an offer (based on a dice roll)

Anyone ever do something similar to this before or have thoughts around how to do it for all 30 clubs?

One house rule around this idea, is NO team can make more than 3 trades in this period, and once a team trades for a player that team can't make another trade until I go through the other 29 teams first.

So essentially I want to implement a round robin July trade deadline system using dice rolls, but need to put a system in place

One idea we do but it takes some time. We make a list of buyers and sellers and make a list of the players that are on expiring contracts that probably should/could be traded at the deadline. So we number each team 1-10 or whatever. Then go to the player list and do a random number roll for each player. The winner gets that player.

You could go further and filter out the teams that might not need that particular player.

What a great starting point, thank you! There's a pretty solid core of a community here, it'd be interesting if we could build on that and come up with a very detailed trade deadline week process to address buyers, sellers, blockbuster trades etc.

I would like to mimic a real MLB season with regards to trades and injuries
So in the cpu profile should trades and injuries be set to manual

really interested in using the wind modifier and the playing card system but can't seem to get the playing card chart to show up on the OP

What am I missing here for 30 team control?
I have the two setting profiles set up, start franchise and select all...then change the teams to use the CPU Franchise profile except the one I am playing with.
Then I start and it brings me to the Orioles screen with three options...what do I need to do there? It has the first two as manual and the third as auto....and when I then click advance, and go to settings in the top right my profile settings have some things changed to auto that are manual in the main menu profile settings?

It is starting feel like the CPU gets an attribute boost in the second sixth inning. It is happening nearly every game for me. Why should we have to take our starting pitcher out the same inning every game even if they’re cruising?

When you see that Baltimore screen make sure everything is set to manual on that screen and you are good to go.
