I know that not everyone has to like every game, but I just don't understand some of your complaints.

First, you complain about the lack of random schedules after the first year. But does HH have it? I doubt it, considering that last year's HH didn't even have the schedule for the right year. (Instead, it used the schedule from the 2001 season.)

Second, some of you say that you won't buy ASB because you don't like cursors. I don't care for cursors either, but last year's ASB was very much playable (and enjoyable) on EASY BATTING mode. No cursors there..

As far as lack of atmosphere..I just don't see it. ASB is leaps and bounds over HH in that department..

As always, just my 2 cents..

High Heat for the PC has it, why not the console? I'm pretty sure with the addition of a career mode in the console version of High Heat this year, there will be random schedules.

I also have to agree about the atmosphere in the game. They need to add some more excitement in game. More cut scenes, fielders pumping their fist after a big play for example etc.

The fact that there was no mention of online play tells me that it's pretty much a sure bet there is none. Either that or Acclaim has no idea how to hype their product. I really have my doubts now about online.
It seems that ASBB will be a rehash of last year with some of the problems fixed. I also have moved ASBB down a few notches on my "to get" list.

This was a good interview but there was nothing discussed that made me like, "whoa, i gotta have this game." I really don't know what baseball game i will get this year, if any. They don't seem like too much of an improvement over WSB that i got a year ago.

I'm afraid your right Skyboxer. From all indications, (check Acclaims official ASB 2004 feature list)

there is no indication of on-line play. It does say On-line capabilities, featuring downloadable roster updates.

does the game still have that stupid panning camera when you hit a homerun. This camera feature takes away the drama of hitting a homerun. I wanna see the outfielder go back, back, until it's outta here.
