    What!?

My brother is going to buy a PS3 right now, but wants a 60GB so we can play PS2 games too(We just got MLB Power Pros & Twisted Metal Head On!It would suck to have to keep the PS2 just to play them)

From my experience, the 60 gb models are extremely hard to come by!!! I ended up buying an 80gb. MLB Power Pros does play on it.

I believe some guys on here said they found some 60gb's at Toys-R-Us and Sam's Club. You can try looking at those stores in your area to start.

You know, I really wish my urge to try this game would die because I really do not want to spend money because I'm saving up for car. But, I have a ps2 and I do not think I will be buying a new system anytime soon, so I'm going to get this game today. It seems pretty timeless (I still play the original tecmo super bowl for NES) so I think i will get plenty of use out of it. Plus I can justify it because I got a 25 dollar birthday check yesterday.

Just played my first game. I was the Braves and beat the Pirates 12-6. This game is going to take some getting used to but I love it. I love the stats and how everything is broken down. I know this game is made for kids, but i love it. It reminds me of Bad News Baseball on NES. I'm about to play a few more games and get a better feel of the game tonight, but so far I love it.

anyone know if they're going to release a new version for the 08 season? id imagine they would. if they released it in october, like they did with the current version, i couldnt wait that long, but if its just around the corner i can wait. although, since this is 2k, i dont see them releasing it so close to mlb 2k8

another thing, how well does the CPU GM manage during the season mode. in game it sounds decent, but i was wondering on trade aquistions, callups, etc.

Lineups are pretty bad if you do a draft. I played a team that had a rather sub-par lineup, only to find out in the 8th inning when they pinch-hit three straight guys that they were hiding Tejada, Helton, and Wright on their bench.

There was also a funny bug where I was playing the Cardinals and Paul Konerko would play shortstop the first inning until his first at bat, and then he would be replaced by Juan Uribe the very next inning (Mientkiewicz was their first baseman, meanwhile).

Of course, that was during the beginning of my season, so I don't know if progressively better stats resulted in different lineup changes for the CPU. I haven't played the game in a bit because my friend has been borrowing my PS2, but when I get back to it I'll let you know how those lineups are looking.

As for trades, etc., I'm not too sure. I've made one trade so far this year, giving up Hideki Okajima and Eric Chavez for Damian Easley, Jon Huber, and Javier Lopez... but that's it. I've been rejected a few times as well while trying to get Willis, so I guess they aren't always too willing.

Even better... I'm holding off on a next-gen console purchase because of this game. I figure I can wait one more year before I want what I believe will be two gems in The Show 09 and 2K9 and the PS3 to run it. Till then, Power Pros is good enough for me!

                          Wow! That's even better!

This is THE best baseball game I've ever played. It's deep, but it's pick up and play at the same time. Baseball games have gotten so far away from fun (IMO!) and it's glad to see that there's a baseball game that I can play, enjoy and not have to spend an hour to finish a game.

I originally bought this game for my daughter(5). She saw the game at the store and since she is into baseball I bought it for her. I had not heard of it or read anything about it so I expected a little kids game . Something that I could play with my daughter and nephews and nieces. But once I started to playing, it was like discovering a hidden treasure, who would of thought that Power Pros could play such a great game of baseball. Of all the games that came out last year this was by far my favorite. It combined fun with great game play, and I got to share all of this with my daughter a bonus. I hope they come out with another version this year, definitely looking forward to it.

About how long does it take to play a game? This was the best thing about High Heat -- games only took 30-35 minutes.
