Maybe they will make the rosters where you can actually edit them in the next edition, too.

I'd say unless Konami releases it themselves, the chances of seeing another one are pretty slim.Comment

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
Wow. I recently bought this game for the ps2 and I have to admit that i am totally blown away by the depth and fun this game provides!
Not since the first winning eleven on ps2 have i been this suprised about a sports game.
I would urge any baseball fan to run to the store to buy it. Best sports game of the year imo.Comment

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
Has anybody been laughed at for playing this game? I'll admit, I do feel kind of weird being a grown man playing a game that looks like this one does. I was playing one day, and somebody walked in the room and was like...."What are you playing? A cartoon? lol". It made me feel a little bit silly.Comment

Plus it plays a great game of baseball.Moderator

to that other guy, it's lame if someone makes fun of you for playing vids, then they probably turn around and watch 8hrs straight of crappy television. I think it's kind of lame when people don't play any vids these days - they're missing out.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

I'm shocked it outsold Brawl anywhere.
Hopefully another edition is made. I'd go reserve it tomorrow if so.Comment

Hopefully they make another one this year or next.
Yes, this was stated before April 1st (fools day), so fear not being tricked.
I hope this is true. The only upgrades that I would want for the game would be that the 360 to get a version or at least a port, and the usual amenities offered with sports games like roster updates, or even the ability to share user created rosters.Comment

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
I got my Wii a few weeks ago and ditched my 360. Do you guys recommend this is a solid, long-term game? Does it keep your interest for several months like the typical sim games?
I still have MVP '05 on the PC but this game sounds pretty darn interesting."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
It's a very good sim type game. Looks kiddish but the amount of stats with this game are the best I've ever seen outside of text sims. You need to get the settings right though and you will hardly ever walk. Rosters will be out of date and although there is a way to get at least one teams roster correct at present it is difficult to do.
If you can get by old rosters and never walking you'll have a great time!Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
That was my other concern, the roster editing/updating. I don't really want to sit around for a month and update every team. Is there any file sharing like the typical sim games?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
