I second that. Ive have more fun playing this game than any other baseball game. This game should have been GOTY last year. It is truly a sim game. Just because it has cartoony players doesnt mean its not a great sim. The only down fall is not walking. But, that doesnt bother me. Roster updates dont matter to me either. I did a fantasy draft and Im loving the game.

Does anyone know if you can select alternate uniforms for your team during Season mode? I know you can select unis before an Exhibition game, but I can't figure out how to do it during my season.
      Thanks in advance.

I'm playing the japanese version of MLB Power Pro (Pawapuro 14).

It's basicaly the same game except it is possible to arrange teams, the teams ar from the japanese league...and well, everything is written in japanese. Also, walks are not an issue in Pawapuro, the pitch counts are very realistic.

No bugs, no framerate issues, no freezes....just funnylooking big headed japanese baseball.

Been playing the game for about 2 weeks. Love it, but can't get my settings right. It's either super-hard, or too easy.

I can get it where it's fair for me and the CPU, but then there are lots of hits, but not lots of runs from a lack of extra-base hits. I'm looking for realistic stats.

          Thanks.

Has to be released by 2K since they own the MLB rights.

can anyone help me with how to take a bigger lead off base? every time i try to follow the instructions in the booklet, i end up attempting to steal the base (even though i'm just trying to take a bigger lead). i'm playing on the wii with nunchuk/remote combo.

                      thanks.

The instructions make no sense for leading off. But I do know this... tap Triangle a few more times than once, and your jump will be that much better (but you'll probably be picked off that much easier).

Does anyone know how to send individual baserunners?

They're releasing a new game in the US in July I believe. So it would appear that I am wrong (and I couldn't be happier about it )

Oh, but it's for the PS2. (didn't see that part of your post)

Can you save separate roster files in this game? I'm thinking of doing a 1993 season roster when the new game comes out, but I'd still like the recent rosters as well.

This is probably a dumb question

I'm not sure which version you have, but if you are playing the ps2 version, you might be able to copy your file from one memory card to another and have 2 files on 2 different memory cards. That way you can edit the rosters on one file and keep them on the other.
