I guess we agree to disagree. I look to his dominant May, June, and July as a greater indicator of success than August and September, when he was clearly gassed. I expect him to put up Beckett comparable numbers next year (20 wins, 3.30ish ERA, 200+ strike outs).

He posted a 5.22 ERA in May. June and July were excellent though.

How about "lock" in the set lineup portion of Arrange?

What does that do? I figured they should be locked in persay when I save the lineup, but why do you have to lock them down too?

Man these rosters are gonna take alot of work to edit.

But I'm working on getting the lineups correct and stuff.

Adding a player here and there.

I guess for exhibition games I'll have all the default roster teams, then the 30 teams I created/copied with the changes.

I'm guessing for Season the will use the arranged rosters???

            Well there goes that idea,,,,,

All the changes and lineups in ARRANGE mode don't get used in SEASON mode,,,at least I don't think. SO that kinda sucks. You can't set all the lineups and junk. Goes back to CPU default ones.

Or at least that's how I am seeing it.

Can anyone else shed some light on this????

You need to unlock the option in the Shop first. It's quite pricey, completed exhibition games gets you 2000 points and completing Success Mode will get you 6000.

Wait,,,,,then all the chances I made in arrange will show up in SEASON for all the teams I made CHANGES TOO???

How much exactly is it then? Or is it just for one team or all teams?

Can you explain a little more??

                Thanks in advance.

I just checked it out in the shop it looks like 100,000.

That means you gotta play 50 exhbition games to unlock that sucker.

But it only looks like you can use it for 1 team.

Someone else on the board mentioned you can use it for all the teams. I dunno if anyone's unlocked it yet to find out.

Re: MLB Power Pros - Roster Edits

The only other way I think to get the lineups set the way you want for all teams is tedious.

You can go into MY DATA. Then Edit player. Take the Devil Rays for example.

Get Wigginton out of there. But sicne they have him starting at 1st base, change him to Pena, and change his Stats. Then change Pena to someone else like Josh Wilson and change his stats and position and stuff. Change the name on Zobrist, then Harris, and switch those two names to each other. Then edit the correct info. This way Harris will start at SS. Very tedius and time consuming, but I guess it can be done. Youa re kinda stuck with a jacked up batting lineup at times, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get all the teams close if you want a really good accurate lineups for season mode for all teams..

i get putting players from "success mode" in an arranged team, but, I just can't find an option to edit a created player.

                        anyone has any ideas?

The "My Data" selection says you can "transfer" players from there, but I don't see the option. Can I only transfer players in arrange mode?
                              Go Yankees!
                              Go Packers!
                              Go RedBulls!

On the Wii, it doesn;t say transfer anywhere in MY DATA.

It says manage password and player transactions, but I don't know what they are talking about.

What I've been doing is, sicne you can't use all the lineup changes and player changes for teams in arrange mode unless you unlocked that thing or whatever, I've been editing ALOT players for players that should be in the starting lineup. So I'm swapping them by editing their names and so forth. I look at the exhibition lineups then see what the CPU has in. Then I go and make the approriate edits in MY DATA, since the arrange team mode seems kind of useless to set all the lineups like you want in season for all the cpu teams and stuff.

                                Sooo....here is an example...

Editing the Devil Rays,.... CPU has Wigginton in as the 1B and batting 4th. So I go in MY DATA edit Wigginton to all Carlos Pena numbers and name so CPU starts him. Then I went back and named Pena I think Josh Wilson with all the approraite stats and position for Wilson, because CPU didn't have Pena starting over Wigginton anyways, so Wilson will be on the bench backing up the middle infield.

It's so tedious. I wish there was an easier way,,,,,,
