Can't argue with any of that.... although how can you claim a game isn't your "cup of tee" until you've tried it...? You're doing the same thing that a lot of "MVP-only fans" do when watching vids of ASB this year and saying it looks boring...

Well it's easy . I hated last years game. If the game was completely redone from scratch, then I would give it a shot. However, it is the same basic game it was last year. They tweaked the hitting and fixed a lot of the annoying bugs, but I just don't like how the game feels/plays. It's just my opinion. Same thing goes for ESPN. I could list everything I don't like about how those games play, but that won't help anyone, especially since it is all my personal preference. Has nothing to do with bugs. It has everything to do with the attention to detail ASB has.

I am looking forward to renting and playing all the games again this year. I just know a rental will be enough. Except maybe MLB, that is looking pretty tight as well.

Let me just add this. I like the games to look and feel real. With the sport of baseball, that should look boring to other people. If a baseball game looks and plays real, than it should look boring to people that find real baseball boring, make sense?

MVP and ESPN just look cartoony to me. A lot of the animations in MVP feel like MLB Slugfest to me.

However, that is my opinion. If MVP makes the game of baseball fun to many people that think the sport is boring, then that is awesome. However, baseball is already exciting to me how it is, so I just want a game that keeps it real.

Let me just add this. I like the games to look and feel real. With the sport of baseball, that should look boring to other people. If a baseball game looks and plays real, than it should look boring to people that find real baseball boring, make sense?

Yes, I'm looking VERY forward to MLB this year... should be great!

But from what I've seen, even some of those that hated the "arcadeyness" of last year's MVP have really enjoyed it this year... leaves me optimistic.
