So you admit that you wouldn't even spend five minutes checking a game out before passing judgement on it. And you're a writer here? Pathetic. I mean really, this is a lesson you should learn in the schoolyard, never pass judgement on anything you know NOTHING ABOUT. Never argue about something you know NOTHING ABOUT. So the question still arises, what exactly where you thinking when you waltzed into this thread? Were you thinking it was okay to give an unfair assessment of a game you know nothing about in a thread that discussed why current fans of said game were buying it? What were you thinking?? Inquiring minds would like to know.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Umm read my posts again. I didn't pass judgement on the game. I said based on the last several years performance of this game, I do not plan on purchasing it. Very simple. I didn't bash this years game, I pointed out problems in past versions that have led me to not plunk down hard earned money on this years version.

Don't let you fanboyism put words in my mouth. I didn't say one bad thing about this years game other than they would have to prove to me they made gameplay improvements before I buy it.

While I can agree that BK's choice to post what he did (in a thread with the topic that it has) was curious, I don't believe that's what took this thread off track. The continuous interrogation (rather than just leaving it be) is what made this thread spiral out of control. But that's just my opinion.

Yes Baldeagle, I probably shouldn't have posted it. Again my plan was to post I am not, and then leave it at that. The numerous questions after led me to respond. I just answered what was asked of me, nothing more.

But in hindsight, it was a bad move on my part. I forget the fanatacism of some of the fans of these games, especially the baseball games it seems.

Re: Why are YOU bjying ASB 2005 this yr

Are there any ASB fans on staff at OS? I'd sure hate to have the review written by a big MVP fan, someone who made up their mind about ASB long ago. Not that it would really matter, I guess. It would just be disappointing, that's all.

Actually, maybe Steve ought to let Cub write the OS review for ASB. I think he could do a pretty fair job with it, discussing both the positives and the negatives. At least he wouldn't turn his head to some of the good things that are in ASB.

How would having a fan of the game make for an objective review? Just because I am not purchasing, now all of OS is against it? Man time to head back to reality.

And who's an MVP fan? I am buying it, but I am no fan of it yet. I need to play it first.

Question: How are they supposed to prove a damned thing if you aren't listening? It's like the saying, if a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? and you're asking the tree to prove it made a sound. That's a laugh. You weren't even there to know it happened, how is the tree supposed to come to you if you will not make any attempt to hear it fall? Does that make any sense?

How the hell are you supposed to know if anything has been "proven" if you won't make the slightest attempt to see if it has been?

Simple I will let other people play it, and get feedback if the probs are still there or not.

When EA put out POS after POS with Triple Play, did you continue to buy it every year? I sure as hell didn't. Same thing with ASB for me.
