This is not true, a few menu buttons have english text. The game manual is in English. 95% of the game is not translated.

Is it possible to create players from scratch or at least edit current players equipment…just got the game today…still navigating menus but haven’t seen those options

So I’m an idiot when it comes to this stuff so take it with a grain of salt but I followed the other guy’s recommendation to do an Indonesian account since it’s cheaper.

I tried making the account myself but Steam was blocking the VPN I was using so I just bought a fresh Indonesian account off some website for $2. Then I bought an Indonesian steam card off some other website. Everything worked perfectly. All in it cost me like $30.

I went the Japan route. Got the yen cards. They only had 3000 denominations so I had to buy 4 and I have 2200 yen left over for dlc I guess lol. Ended up costing $136 Canadian but it is what it is. Japan route seemed easier and Im dumb with money anyways lol. It took about 8 hours to get the yen card codes sent to me through email but it was all legit and worked.

Downloading now. Pretty excited.

Google lens is a godsend lol. Not too bad navigating menus. It's just funny because Konami is so "wordy" in all their games and it's not ideal in this circumstance ha.

Played some scenarios and I love how the game looks and it was very smooth. It played fantastic on high settings on the ROG Ally handheld if anyone's wondering.

Way past my bedtime but I'm super excited to play again tomorrow. Think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this.

Side note. There is something about Japanese commentary that makes me happy. I don't understand even a little bit of what they are saying but I can feel the excitement lol.

soooooo. I'm going to do the steam route tonight I guess I don't understand completely though.

So I have to create a Japanese steam account then purchase Japanese steam cards in order to buy it?

I mean obviously I'd have to be signed into my Japanese steam account to play it going forward. That kinda sucks no?
It seems like a pain switching back and forth between accounts or is it not a big deal?

Absolutely no other way to play on PC?

you also need a vpn to get access to the japan steam. But once you make the purchase you can access your account without the vpn

I remember after getting GTA V from Epic Games, they don't receive the same mods as Steam does or something, so I couldn't ever mod it if I wanted to.

I mod for Madden and NBA2k and I hope to mod this game. I'd assume steam is how most will get this gameeaning more than likely steam would be the safer bet.

The thing with GTA is more on how Rockstar does things then anything. I'd say the fairest comparison to this game would be PES as it's also Konami and it's easily moddable on steam.

Hard to say. My guess is probably not. In most sports games it's hard to mod in extra teams or really alter league structures because there is so much baked in. That being said though Konamis PES is one of the most moddable sports games around so I can't be too sure.
