The DLC is somewhat the Japanese version of Sounds of the Show. They have player walk up songs, team fight songs, and brass band songs. I think someone on the discord is working on uploading team sets.

Is there an invite to the discord anywhere? Ive been wanting to join it but all I could find was a prospi translation one and I don't think that's the one people are talking about in here.

Really like these other than I'm no where near good enough for these hitting settings. I got no hit with 18 strike outs lol.

Which settings helps with aiming the batting cursor?

you can drop pitch speed down to strong + then lol. Just have to sit on a location and pitch. If you click on the starting pitcher you are facing you there is a tab labeled AI and it can kind of give you an idea of what he'll throw, at least fastballs.

I don't think there is anything that can help aim the cursor, but the "Meat Assist" can help make up for shortcomings. The higher there is the more assist/power it gives you.

Meet assist moves your batting cursor in the right direction for you and helps with contact. I think it was proven years ago by Vern and Muka that having batting cursor assist on zero or none will give you the highest level of hit types. Better off lowering pitch speed and turn off assist than using real speed with assist turned on. imho

In older PYS games, there was an item that you can buy in the in-game store which enabled more COM difficulty levels. Do you all know if this item is available? Is there any way to enable more difficulty levels?

The old Server is kinda outdated. The other 2 admins haven't been online for years. I'm just randomly replying there. Focusing more on my server tbh.

Also. I've never actually watched a real life game of Japanese baseball before. This game has made me interested.

Where would someone watch games in North America, more specifically Canada?

I googled it and some said YouTube but that didn't bring up anything for me and I also read DAZN which I do already get but apparently using a VPN to get Japanese DAZN doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Auto base running?
Auto field manual throw?
Pitching… classic like the Show where you can have clean screen?
Hitting…..like the Show can just swing without aiming, etc.

In the show I like to bat and pitch both from camera behind the pitcher to mimic a real life broadcast. In the show it's easy to cheat and see what pitch is coming by looking at the pitchers grip. I do my best not to cheat but I still see it sometimes.

In this game on easier difficulties you can still do that but on higher difficulties the grip remains the same for every pitch type so you can't tell. Been wanting the show to implement that for years. Very cool touch.

Unfortunately it's not easy. You can get Pacific League TV for those teams. The Central League doesn't have a single streaming network, so you have to go through the specific teams for those and some don't even offer that option.

Alright, finally have all the cheer songs downloaded and assigned and now i want to start my franchise over. Trying to decide now on who to pick. I tend to prefer the Pacific league because of the DH, hitting with pitchers suck but thats not going to deter me.

Central
Giants - Legendary Tokyo dome, however too much like SF Giants who i hate. Also have no names on their jerseys so will be hard to remember who the players are, at least at first. Do have money and rumored to be going after Kai and Ohyama this offseason. Could be intriguing.

Hanshin - Playing all home games at Koshien is appealing. Cool uniforms. Sato and Chikamoto
DeNA - sell me on them. Decent looking uniforms. Not really drawn to them
Hiroshima - nothing stands out to me about them. Sell me on them.
Yakult - Tokyo Ohndo song before games. Murakami and Yamada. Cool uniforms and tiny umbrellas.
Chunichi - probably least appealing to me. Plus look like Dodgers.

Pacific
Hawks - very good. Probably one of my favorite teams. But used them so much in 2019/2022 game as well as Switch. But a lot of familiarity with the organization. Love Yuki Yanagita and Kondo.

Fighters - Who my current franchise is. Not sure if i want to start over with them having played so many games already. Love the Franimal and Mannami and their awesome new stadium.

Lotte - Roki Sasaki. Don't have to face Polanco. He OWNS me.
Rakuten - cool park with the ferris wheel. Decent uniforms. Asamura.
Orix - pitching pitching pitching. Just always reloading.
Lions - sell me on them.
