Dare I say after watching this video as well as the world classic video the game looks better than I felt a couple of weeks ago. Maybe these are more "finished" versions of the final game. The fielding animations looked really good. The batting animations (my biggest complaint for the past few years) actually didn't all that bad. Is it me or did the players heads seemed to follow the ball in the direction it came off the bat?

In the earlier vids I have seen each swing animation had the players head looking down and away after contact.

Blzer caught that in one vid about a month ago. I've seen both -- with the head twirling around like last year, and when the head seems to snap back to a forward-looking position, just after it starts to swivel.

Interesting how at around the 3:50 mark when it shows the line score it shows the Reds as the home team...overall though, I think this game will surprise people. With some tweaking it might play alright. One thing that bugs me about 2K baseball games is they have never gotten cut off rotations down at all. The P is never a cut off man...he runs to cover 3rd or Home. Instead, they have him cut the ball off. I wish they would let OF/IF/C arms be adjusted with a slider as well.

I think we have a steroid issue here. Talk about gunning down the runner at home.

This is the same guy that bare hands line drives in 2K5 and dives in front of infielders and snags hot shots with his teeth... why would he do something as wimpy as cover third base?

Hahaha...true. I just realized I said cover, when I meant back up the throw to that base. I guess you knew what I meant.

Steriods don't improve performance or break records -- the player has to have the natural talent. Ask Barry Bonds.

I thought the animations in the vid looked pretty good. You'll notice though that the guy controlling the baserunners for the mets has no clue what he is doing thus he was thrown out at home twice. He essentially didn't keep his baserunners moving and they paused at every base instead of him pre-loading the destination just like last year... Lame imo, get kids to play the game if they can't...

True. The guys at IGN can make a game look really bad...

look at the baserunners and you'll realize they would have both been safe and Cliff Floyd and D-Wright were the runners btw... They literally paused at every base for no reason... All you do is pre-load the base, the guy playing did not, thus he had to advance each runner when they got to the base and remember there is momentum so they slow up and then have to speeds up, it's absurd. Read the manual if you can't figure it out... It's always the guy rounding second, he doesn't pre-load quick enough. The turn around 3rd is fine, but not second.

I agree, I think animations look a lot better this year, and I was suprised to see that this years version has a lot of the batting stances right on point. I think this game will be nice on the 360. I'm really looking forward to the game more and more.

I wish they would pick the right one of the two.

not only were the throws hard and long, they were accurate as well. with that distance accuracy should suffer?
