So, my conclusion is that pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken. Ridiculous.Last edited by baa7; 04-05-2006, 06:25 PM.Comment

At first I thought I was having issues because I was playing as the Yanks and Cano is rated poorly in the field. Re: Official PS2/Xbox Bugs, Glitches Thread
Update on this:
Pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken from last year. The same bug! How could they have not fixed this bug that was in 2K5? I started a franchise and I played my first game with Eric Bedard pitching. I purposefully had him pitch the whole game and lost 5-0. He did have fatigue throughout the game. By the ninth inning he was at 0% endurance. I then started another game and went to choose my starting pitcher and Bedard had 100% endurance. I chose Bedard to pitch again and he was at 100% starting the 1st inning. I simulated the rest of the game and started to play the 3rd game and Bedard's endurance was at 38%. So, my conclusion is that pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken. Ridiculous. I hope they are alerted this before the release the 360 version. I was very hyped for this game and can overlook many small problems but this is a game killer for me.
PS: Can someone post this on the 2K sports bulletin board? For some reason I cannot get my reply email from them to register/post. Thanks. Here's the link location:

This is the update:
I tried playing a GM franchise game and the pitcher fatigue worked. THe only time it does not work is when you select franchise and then select a season that is less than 162 games. This is HUGE for me because I do not like to play out the whole season.Comment

Originally posted by baa7Yeah, I only play 40 game seasons. So any chance you can test to see if fatigue works/doesn't work in season mode?Comment

Re: Official PS2/Xbox Bugs, Glitches Thread
Well if it's handling the fatigue by days, not games, I don't really consider it a glitch. Not the ideal way, but it was kind of to be expected if you don't play a game for 4 or 5 days, pitchers probably shouldn't still be tired. As long as the CPU sticks with a rotation, I don't see the big issue.Comment

Originally posted by ExtremeGamerHmm, interesting point. If a 40 game season has one game, then another 4 days later, then the fatigue shouldn't be an issue.Comment

Re: Official PS2/Xbox Bugs, Glitches Thread
Originally posted by baa7Interesting point sure. But the programming design renders fatigue pointless. And fatigue and player wear-and-tear is an important aspect of any sport, and a fun part of managing a team in a video sports game. It's like a big aspect of the game is missing then.Comment
