So, my conclusion is that pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken. Ridiculous.
O.M.G... Unbelievable. Holy moly. I'm reaching the point where I'm not sure I'll even spend the $10 to rent the 360 version of the game.

So some are saying. It would be great if someone else could confirm by spending a few minutes, shifting some players around, and seeing if it screws up the rosters.

But then I played games as the Mets (yeah Matsui sucks too), the Cubs and the Cardinals. Problems with all three teams.
I don't understand. Are you saying the CPU second basemen this year stand around and don't move, similar to what the third basemen did in 2K5?

It's not the $10 Joe. What's the point of owning another baseball game with terrible roster problems and pitchers who don't tire, etc, etc? Might as light those dollar bills on fire and watch 'em burn, it seems to me.

iirc in the tutorial video it says you can press a or use the right stick to dive

                  Update on this:

Pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken from last year. The same bug! How could they have not fixed this bug that was in 2K5? I started a franchise and I played my first game with Eric Bedard pitching. I purposefully had him pitch the whole game and lost 5-0. He did have fatigue throughout the game. By the ninth inning he was at 0% endurance. I then started another game and went to choose my starting pitcher and Bedard had 100% endurance. I chose Bedard to pitch again and he was at 100% starting the 1st inning. I simulated the rest of the game and started to play the 3rd game and Bedard's endurance was at 38%. So, my conclusion is that pitcher's fatigue in played franchise games is STILL broken. Ridiculous. I hope they are alerted this before the release the 360 version. I was very hyped for this game and can overlook many small problems but this is a game killer for me.

PS: Can someone post this on the 2K sports bulletin board? For some reason I cannot get my reply email from them to register/post. Thanks. Here's the link location:

                  This is the update:

I tried playing a GM franchise game and the pitcher fatigue worked. THe only time it does not work is when you select franchise and then select a season that is less than 162 games. This is HUGE for me because I do not like to play out the whole season.

Yeah, I only play 40 game seasons. So any chance you can test to see if fatigue works/doesn't work in season mode?

Now for me, that's something QA should have easily caught. That's a pretty bad bug. I only play 162 game seasons, but a lot of people play under, hence them giving you the option. Just chalk another one up.

Well if it's handling the fatigue by days, not games, I don't really consider it a glitch. Not the ideal way, but it was kind of to be expected if you don't play a game for 4 or 5 days, pitchers probably shouldn't still be tired. As long as the CPU sticks with a rotation, I don't see the big issue.

Hmm, interesting point. If a 40 game season has one game, then another 4 days later, then the fatigue shouldn't be an issue.

Except it affects 154 game seasons, and 120 game seasons... and it affects your relievers as well. They can pitch game after game after game. Easy to leave the starting rotation alone, but who is going to not choose his best relievers every game if they're always ready to pitch?

Interesting point sure. But the programming design renders fatigue pointless. And fatigue and player wear-and-tear is an important aspect of any sport, and a fun part of managing a team in a video sports game. It's like a big aspect of the game is missing then.
