He is listed on the MLB team on the callups/sendown page but he is no lnger listed anywhere else, but the roster page. So, he is on my MLB roster, he just doesn't do anything. I fixed something equally dumb in last years game, but I don't know if I have the patience for this game this year. I'm THIS close to playing the show and letting 2k6 be rememebered as a bad, brief dream instead of a prolonged nightmare, before I get too involved in another 2k baseball game again.

Originally posted by baa7Last year, if you transferred an MLB player onto the team (non-AAA or AA player), he sometimes wouldn't show up in the lineup. Not sure this is exactly the same glitch, but... the way to prevent that is to make sure any player you transfer onto your team, is listed as an AAA or AA player. Once he's on the roster, you're okay to promote him to the MLB lineup.
Oh I remember the problem. This looks like a different problem. If I remember correctly sometimes when you called up a hitter for a pitcher, sometimes the hitter would need to be removed from the pitching depth chart. I noticed that when you go to the depth chart this year there is no option for pitchers, so the only way to adjust pitchers "depth" is in the rotation chart. When I made the earlier mentioned move, Jeff Nelson was nowhere to be found in any depth or rotation charts. He just vanished, except for in the callups and sendowns."My favorite word in English is 'youneverknow.'" - Joaquin AndujarComment

Re: Official PS2/Xbox Bugs, Glitches Thread
Oh boy where do I start. The Pure Motion Physics should be considered a bug because it is so bad. Had a line drive hit to the outfield and stopped rolling. Well I could of picked it up and held the runner at a double but I COULDN"T TURN. Everytime I moved in a direction my fielder would stop turn 90 degrees and run in that direction. It took me about 15 seconds to actually manuever him into the right direction so I could pick up the damn ball. The guy got an inside the park homer.
Next I threw a wild pitch which went all the way to the backstop. The runner on 2nd took off for 3rd and was about 2 feet away from 3rd when I got the ball. He immediatly turned around and jogged back to 2nd. Well I threw to second and waited for him to walk right into me and I tagged him out.
Then the CPU hit a line drive right at my pitcher. It hit him in the chest and went THROUGH HIM. He turned around and was standing on the ball so he couldn't pick it up. Finally he moved and grabbed it but the runner was already safe.
Also the collision detection is only for your own players for some reason. Almost every other play the CPU will run through one of my guys or I will run through one of theirs.
As someone already mentioned the CPU will completely screw over your roster if you accidently let it auto edit.
When the Trivia Question loads the players coming off the field will dissapear for a second and then come back but running in the opposite direction.
One of the dumbest glitches I saw was I hit a homerun that was right next to the right foul pole. Well Joe calls it a homerun and the fireworks go off, but then it shows my manager and asks if I want to argue the call. So natuarally I figure that the umps called it foul. I argue and my manager gets tossed. Now I have no control over my team. After the manager gets tossed the scoreboard comes back up and I see that it actually counted as a homerun. WTF! Why then would it ask me to argue the call?
So anyways this is what I picked up on after playing just TWO games. Very poor job again by Kush.Comment

Oh wow, how could everyone have missed this. i just found a pretty huge bug. I rented it, didn't buy it, but one of the first things I do when I get a new sports game, after playing a couple of exhibitions, of course, is simulate a season or two in franchise mode. I simulated a season and found some pretty ridiculous numbers in one particular category; walks allowed. I did more than one season to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Alas, it wasn't. I'll let the numbers speak for themselves:
League leaders- Walks allowed:
1) Oliver Perez- 199 (173 IP)
2) Ervin Santana- 196 (164 IP)
3) Rich Harden- 181 (188 IP)
4) Brandon Backe- 164 (179 IP)
5) Scott Kazmir- 164 (193 IP)
6) Kip Wells- 153 (170 IP)
7) Edwin Jackson- 150 (152 IP)
8) Jason Schmidt- 139 (183 IP)
9) Byung-Hyun Kim- 135 (151 IP)
10) Matt Cain- 131 (206 IP)
-------
-------
100) Jorge Julio- 75 (84 IP)A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Those are SERIOUSLY messed up numbers. As I said, I ran multiple sims to make sure it wasn't a fluke. On one of the sims, the leader (can't remember who it was) had something like 268 BB issued.
Last year 1 pitcher had 100 walks, in this game first sim, 46 pitchers had over 100 walks.
20 bucks says they don't patch it either hahahaComment

Xbox version.
Played a quick game between Minnesota and Toronto. Set the weather to rainy. The game starts, the commentator notes that it's raining, and that the dome will be closed today.
It doesn't happen. The dome stays open for the entire game, and on top of that it rains for the entire game. lol.Comment
