I might start a new thread at some point because i'm curious about this question: Has anybody gotten the game to crash with replays set to NEVER in the settings? and being sure this setting is saved, etc.

What I did was turn off all 2K beats and songs and turned off all replays, cutscenes, etc.
Well, what do you know, I finally completed a game. It's not cool for having to shut off a lot of the extras 2K threw in there, but if that means I can finally play a game, well then yippee.

The game did play a lot faster and I actually enjoyed it. But then again, I am not hard to please.

@ least somebody read my post 2 pages ago.. Guys I know everyone is frustrated but if you haven't returned your game & are holding out try this as a temporary solution.

Turn OFF ALL 2k Beats & 2k Stadium Music. Try changing Replays to NEVER. Turn FIREWORKS-OFF & see what happens. People are saying that this is working on other message boards...

Good work bigfnjoe, I did read your post and it worked. The game is pretty solid when it doesn't freeze.

I also ventured to the 2k forums like you mentioned and holy crap are those guys hilarious some good comedy over there.

Why tho should a person have to set REplay's to never to fix a game? What if i want to see a replay?

Start to pauses, go to replay.

So glad I decided to gamefly this before I dropped a 60 spot on it. Hopefully I don't have the problem. I'd never had any problems with College Hoops even with the patch so hopefully the game will work.

I work at eb games and when oblivion came out i got it and had a problem with the disk.It would lock up and freeze but only on that game.It took me three times to get a good disk all were sealed and right out of the box.I also noticed that the labels on the disk were not center on some of them.I truly think the problem is a batch of bad disk.It's a shame that 360 games are having this much trouble,maybe they should not have rushed so hard to get hardware out.

Right now that place is a MAD-HOUSE. There is NO-Quality-Control going on over there. NO-MODS= INSANE... Hopefully this issue can be resolved soon, so the TROLLS can go-away....

I'm happy that this temporary solution has worked for you. I hope it continues to work until a PATCH is ready..

I'm not trolling at the 2K forum but I'm noticing that they have deleted a few of my posts over there. I haven't used any profane language at all but they are mysteriously disappearing. Its pretty strange if you ask me.

Im positive it has something to do with the Disc and something 2k Missed here. I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with the 360 itself.

I am going to try this turn music stuff off 2nite and see if that works..Maybe i can play a 2 inning game instead of 1 inning or 1 out
