People go threw this every year but it sure looked nothing like this last year... And im sure everyone here but may not agree... I think it looks good and im glad to see something new..

It has been my number ONE issue with the game the last couple of years.

I'm gonna miss those Exorcist-like head turns after contact. They were hilarious

2K Sports PR. They never use CGI for their trailers. As you can see from the previous NBA 2K, College Hoops 2k and Top Spin trailers, the footage looks exactly like it does when you get the game.

Now I'm not saying that they didnt edit the trailer to hide game flaws and issues but the graphics will pretty much look like that.

This looks miles better than the 2K6 swinging animations. I'm sure they're still refining them. Kush finally seems to be catching up with the rest of VC's ship.

From this brief video, it seems like Brinkman has righted the ship.

I really hope this game is good. MLB2k6 was putrid. Not exactly happy with Inside Edge either. I think it's a cool feature, but should be a lot more subtle than it was in 2k6.

Ever since 2K2, the sun's "position" was always a little more geared toward behind the third base line, as the shine would hit the backs of right-handed hitters and the fronts of left-handed hitters. As you can see in this video, this isn't always the case.

So, either they have specific sun positions for specific stadiums, the games are running at different times of day and the time of day is "progressing" as the sun goes down, or both.
Okay, I'm convinced that it's not based on the stadium that you're in, and it has to do with the time of day. As you can see here:

These are both in Yankee Stadium, correct? Well, earlier when we got our first screenshots, I was a little sad that I figured we were going to get the same position of the sun behind the third base line, like previous years (see bottom pic). But, now the top pic says otherwise. Since we see a shaded from to Matsui and since he's a lefty, that means that the sun is not behind the third base line like it normally is. This can mean one of a few things: 1) The sun moves that much in one day game; 2) The sun behind the third base line may be a new position for the sun for a twilight game or night game.

There are more things to draw up from this, but it looks as though the sun is finally at different spots in this game. I always enjoy a game's dynamics. As you can see, the A's double-play and the Reyes slide have the sun about to fall behind the stadium, where as most every other shot has the sun right above them or to the backs of left-handed hitters (and Santana looks as though there's no sunlight on him, thankfully since he's in a dome!).

This is good news. I can't wait to see some night shots.

Still the same swing animations, already turns me off. I'm hoping we can be surprised though.
The swing animations look much improved to me. That is my biggest turnoff in the past. If only they had more hit variety, take away the "a" for contact and "b" for power and give me a great zone hitting scheme, I'll be happy. This game HAS to be good as i'm depending on it keeping me from spending the coin on a PS3 before there is a price drop. I need this game to be good.

Agreed... no PS3 and no 360 yet because of MLB2K6 vs The Show 07

No doubt, I really don't understand what the hell they were doing with the batting animations the last couple of years. The whole animation was fubar

At the end where Rodriguez hits the home run, before it cuts to the home run cut-scene. Notice his turnout? Same thing in current-gen 2K6. And, if I know one thing about current-gen 2K6, it's that it is far inferior to 2K7's swing and follow-through.

The begining part of his swing is off a little, the middle is just about spot on and the back end of his swing is off. They have his body motion heading too far off into the end of his swing. Overall, there are definately improvements.
