well everything you are saying would essentially conclude in a perfect baseball game. So, once that pinacle is reached the company has no where to go but down.

Last year, they had a **** game IMO atleast. This year they will make the gameplay slightly better, improved visuals and what not, right?

Next year they'll put in new hitting animation or a carrer mode or something

The following year they'll have this one gigantic thing they'll promote as this amazing baseball game with everything anyone could ever want.

Then the year after they'll come out with some "revolutionary" or they'll be cheap and just put new rosters.

What my primary point is that everything you are saying and everything you have done is excellent, no doubt about it. From what I've read your knowledge on baseball is profound and would undoubtedly help Kush and 2Ksports make one kick *** baseball game. But once all that is done, their options for making money are removed.
At the end of the day it is still a business and if their are limits as to how much money they can extract from the consumer, they won't do it.

Giving the gamers EVERYTHING that we want would be financially devastating. Not only as to the amount of resources required, but also in the long term as people will just upgrade rosters instead of falling for a scheme for say "MLB 2K8 with commentry from Flava Flav"

I understand that, but normally that comes in features, not in gameplay realism fixes, etc. It's not like they would put on the back of the cover: "Now with realistic strike zones and grass friction!" That's one of the under-the-hood features that should be implemented without people having worry of the game getting "better" as the years go by.

Now, my Pro Control Defense is a different thing, and that's where I can understand them waiting for a while to do. But parts of my Pro Control defense have attributes that aren't in the game, which is where I addressed some things. For instance, the first-step/second-step/angling/strafing attributes don't necessarily need to be in the game, but they should be featured in the game, as they would correct the momentum issues that were in 2K6. That kind of stuff should go unsaid when it comes to marketing the game, and in all it shouldn't come with baby steps in addressing gameplay issues year after year. If they can correct it, by God they should.

Features, again, are a different story, and I would agree with you on that.
