How about this one..This happen to me last night in my D-Backs GM Franchise!!

I hit a hard ground ball close to the second base bag, the second baseman dove to his right and made a nice play! he got on one knee, looked towards first base to throw the ball, but knew he had no chance to get me so he toss the ball to the shortstop who was close by which he grabbed bare handed and fired to first to get me out!! I never seen this before in any baseball game! and I played them all!.., has anyone seen this?

This is why I have to play with CPU Pitchers (and Hitters) use Inside Edge (it's defaulted on in sliders so if you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it).

Facing different pitchers makes every game interesting. When I faced Bartolo Colon he kept coming up and up with his fastball, occasionally mixing it up with a curveball. When I faced Matt Morris he was breaking ball, change-up happy against me. It made his 88 mph fastball look like 98.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

The team I was playing against had a mound visit, and you could see the sun's effects on the pitchers and the coaches ears, turning them that pale redish color, its details like that that stun me.

                    Re: Little Things Thread.....

                    - I love how buying "Inside Edge" reports actually influences your catcher to properly call for the right type of pitch/location, and also loves how it's not perfect

                    - I'm playing as Boston in Fenway when some idiot yankee hits a ball to deep right, and it's curving towards the foul pole. I'm listening and Jon says "Foul ball" but home run flashes! Then he says "oh, sorry, it's a Home Run!". Grrrrrr

                    - You know how the players leap to the top of the fence right? Well, how do they react to a short fence like Fenway's right field fence? Got my answer when Big Pappy hit a high fly ball to deep right, the Toronto (I think?) right fielder goes back, back, back, back... he's at the fence and he... stretches as far as he can, leaning over the fence... and catches the ball to rob my slugger of a homer. I'm like, what the heck, did I just see that?

I love this game, it's not perfect but all I asked is that it would push the 360 and that it would be fun to play. Sounds like I'm a happy camper.

In my Braves season mode I just got back from a 7-4 road trip and was 1 game back against the Phillies, who I happen to have a 3 game set at home against. The first game features John Smoltz against Freddy Garcia. With Turner Field sold out (I love the dynamic attendance), Smoltz was sharp throwing a perfect game the first time through the lineup. All of the sudden, leading off the 4th, Jimmy Rollins lays down a perfect bunt to break it all up! I was stunned to see him do it...anyway, it went downhill from there and the Phils ended up with a 6-0 shutout and a 2 game lead.

Probably mentioned already but when pitching with Pedro Martinez, forget which stadium, someone in the crowd yelled, "I'm your daddy, Pedro!"

                        That was pretty sweet.

That guy that sits in the crowd behind the catcher popping his mit with his fist-wonder if he'll ever catch a stray foul ball? Lol

This was probably already mentioned. I like how when the team is not doing too well the stadium is empty. But once the team start to pick up the pace and get a few wins, fans start showing up again.
