Still seeing new animations depicting emotion in the game. On a second strike, had the CPU batter step out of the box and does a little "dammit!" kick. In a close game, my catcher hit into a double play. He was out by at LEAST a step and a half - wasn't really that close especially on the replay. But he complains anyway lol. Sort of walks a little towards the infield like he's trying to get someone's attention. Had to laugh at that. Then later in the game the CPU hits into a double play that's much closer. As the runner steps on the bag (and I guess realizes he's called out) he grabs his head with both hands as if to say "C'mon - you've gotta be kidding me!". Okay, I'm sticking words in their mouths. But some cool animations

A's vs. Card's. Ellis is on second base with 2 outs. GB to right field and I try to score with Ellis, he's out by quite a few steps and tries to run over Molina, but Molina doesn't budge and Ellis get's bounced backwards like he ran into a brick wall. I couldn't help but start laughing. I had to replay that a few times.Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
Hello
I am wondering if these extra 'touches' are strictly 360/ps3 related.
Anyone have the ps2 version and seeing the nice additions?
I have a 360 but i'm hesitant to buy a new game for it as i think the red ring is about to say HI!
Thanks for your time.Proud supporter of Thug U. since 1984Comment

Thanks for your reply Glenn.
Ps2 is what 20 bucks? i can tolerate the the non super grafix, but i will go buy the ps2 now if you think i would be able to have the same game as next gen minus visuals.
360 is boxed up and i will read on what to do to ship it to them.
(ugh i guess next gen is able to do all those extra things being its powerful vs ps2)
Thanks again.Proud supporter of Thug U. since 1984Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
Wow... I was playing against the Indians and before the game they were profiling Grady Sizemore. His stats were .203 AVG, 0 HR, and 3 RBI...
I was like wtf!?
first At bat, he hits a long-goner...
next time he came up to the plate, under his stats, it said...
"Slump ended today with 1st inning HR".
Now that is broadcast versatility.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I forgot if anyone mentioned this earlier (heck, maybe I did, I'm beat right now!). Anyway, you know how when a player comes to bat, they show some of the highlights earlier in the game, like a homerun, maybe 2 home runs, and I've seen 3, yes, 3 great catches in the outfield? Well two days ago, I saw something different, a recap of the defensive difficulties the player had during the game. So as he comes to bat, Morgan says something like "well, he booted the ball earlier today, hopefully he can redeem himself with a base hit here" and of course, we see a replay on the batter's error earlier at 2nd base. There is so much variety in this game, it's insane (a good insane eheh).Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I recently started playing the game while wearing a very nice pair of headphones on. These are made by Turtle Beach and they give you a 5.1 surround sound experience.
Any way, all game sounds are enhanced while wearing these especially the more obscure sounds like crowd chatter. OMG to all that get's said by the crowd during the whole game !!! It's incredible how much depth and variety in what they say. The stadium PA announcer has the same depth. This really adds to the experience of being thereXBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: Little Things Thread.....
One of the cool things I saw last night had absolutely nothing to do with in-game stuff. But it just adds to the overall feel of actually being at a real venue. Apparently someone dropped what appeared to be popcorn or something else on the floor and it just laid their spilled over while people just kept on walking by. I know this is something small, but seeing stuff like this makes you want to let all the cut-scenes play out to see other cool little things in the game. Sorry if this has already been mentioned.Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
And it's true. I started a new Cubs dynasty. First game against the Reds, FIRST PITCH, Soriano hits a drive to deep center. Griffey goes back to the track and jump to make the catch and smashes into the outfield wall. He immediately clutches his arm and is out for 2-3 months with a broken radius. Now THAT is realism.Comment
