I would say the cutscenes before a game are amazing. To get shots of the actual exterior of each stadium, damn. I was also impressed with the World Series Banner hanging from the light standard at US Cellular.

These guys did their homework for as many pitcher motions and batter walk-ups, step outs as they have.

How about the real time scoreboards. SF is so accurate. It has the players stats and all that other stuff. It sucks for Cubs, I don't know why some don't have real time scoreboard.

when playing an exhibition it automatically sets it up based on the actual current time and temperature.

For example...I went to play a game at Fenway at around 11:30 PM realtime and start time was set to 11 PM and the temperature was set to 24 degrees. Scrolling through different stadiums the temp adjusted accordingly. Florida was in the 60's...

That amazed the hell out of my girlfriend and I.

i was the yanks verses boston and a flyball was hit to matsui in left. he misplayed it and then threw it to cano who was covering second. once cano caught the ball, he pulled it out of his glove and then violently threw it back into his glove like he was pissed matsui had made the error!

Playing a game in US Cellular Field, Travis Hafner came up for me in the top of the 11th against Bobby Jenks in a 1-1 game. On an 1-2 count, Hafner crushed a fastball into the leftfield seats. When he made contact, he just tossed the bat and threw his hands in the air, made it really feel like it was an important home run.

I also liked the stat when Hafner came up in the 1st inning, saying he was 1-4 in the previous game. nice little touch for franchise

I haddnt even noticed the banner, thats pretty cool. I definetly noticed the WS Champs logo on the outfield wall.

I really like that opening exterior shot of the The Cell, reminds me of getting done tail gaiting and heading in to find the nearest beer vendor and my seat.

I hit a shot to deep right center against the Indians and Sizemore jumped into the wall, made the catch, and came down with an injury to his throwing hand.

The replays showed how his throwing hand met the fence first before his body went full force into it.

Out for 1-2 weeks with a bruised wrist.

I've noticed some pretty appropriate injuries as well. I plunked someone in the head (I was miffed I gave up a dinger) and he went down holding his head. He was injured with a minor concussion. Also, I dove for a blooper behind second base, only to have my 2nd baseman come up lame with a seperated shoulder. My favorite was a pitcher twisted his knee backing up a play after sprinting to get in position. Me likes!

I'm swinging and missing with Royce Clayton (what a surprise!) and he steps out, takes a hard cut and kind of shrugs as if to say "come on" to himself. Very nice. Really adds to feel of an at bat. This game is amazing when it comes to graphics/animations. Hopefully the gameplay and franchise will hold up over time...

I'm dominating the Indians with Halladay. Cruising along in the 7th with a 2-hit shutout, my catcher calls for a cutter in on the hands of Travis Hafner. Its mapped to RB, which always gives me trouble. I throw it anyways, totally blow it and leave a meat pitch out over the plate. Long ball, 412 feet to right center. Very nice!

The one cool thing I notice from time to time, is on really close plays at first, watch the baserunner. He'll actually slow down, and protect the side of his face with his left hand.

Set up a 20 game season so I can track some stats to adjust sliders. Opening day in Cincinnati playing as the Bucs and... played the top half of the first when the game was called due to rain. I'll bet the fans were disappointed.

CPU at the plate, pitcher on 2nd base. Sinking liner hit to LF, the runner on first stops halfway as he should, but the pitcher doesn't and I am able to double him up. Good logic there. Baserunning mistake by the pitcher, with the position player making the correct decision. To me, that shows that the baserunning ratings actually affect gameplay. Or it was just coincidence...
