man on 1st and 2nd, 1 out. semi-slow ball hit to the SS, the SS tries to tag the runner going from 2nd to 3rd but the runner jumps way out of the way and i couldn't tag him, i had to go to 1st for the single out...the way the uni moved when he jumped...unbelievable

The thing is, I love the Show 07, but its on the ps2, and I dont think the Show can get any better than it is on that system. I mean, mlb2k7 has all those little things I like because of the next gen capabilities (pitchers warming in bullpens during gameplay, fans going for foul balls, players in dugouts, graphics) All that, and it seems to have improved alot over the past year.

I'll wait this out for a week or so, but if this game continues to get all these great impressions, I am just going to trade in my whole ps2 system with my 2 games (since I only use it for hitz pro and mlb) and get this game.
        Don't do it!!!

I know this isn't a major thing, but to me it is terrific! I play with the Dodgers, and I had Wilson Betemit at first with Jason Schmidt at the plate with one out. I was playing the Brewers and Capuano was pitching. Of course this is a sac-bunt situation. So, I layed down a bunt that went sort of to the right of the pitcher. He picked it up and thought he could nail Betemit at second, but on a bang-bang play at second, the runner was called safe. It was a very close play, but I thought the ump might have blown the call. He looked out by a hair. Sure enough, the Brew-Crew's manager comes out to argue the play and gives his team a boost.

But to me, here is the cool part- I went to check the box score, and the play was correctly scored a fielder's choice and Schmidt was not credited with a hit. Every game I have ever played always scores this a single....even my favorite MVP '05. But this game seems to correctly score all plays (except for the save, but it gets this right 95% of the time). I don't know why that is such a big deal for me, but it just shows that the people that are making this game really understand the rules of baseball!

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I think all teams go to the correct dugouts! I play with the Red Sox, and they seem to always be walking towards the 1st base side after a half inning.
Haven't played with all teams or seen them all, but it does seem that they got it right as of now...
              Anyone else have any info?

Just smoked a ground ball down the foul line with Jason Varitek. The ball boy fields it and tosses it to a kid in the stands. I also hear kids voices mixed in with the jumble of crowd speech. Really really cool. AWESOME. I just hit a bomb that wrapped around pesky's pole in right and the fans all went for it. They couldn't find it they were all looking for it and then a girl pulls it out from under her seat and holds her hand up with the ball in it as crowd applauses. That is awesome.

I'm assuming Cub fans throw back opposing homeruns?

And if so, do you see the fan doing it? I played a game there, but gave up no homeruns.

I had Jeff Kent lunge to grab a grounder up the middle and then flipped it behind his back to the SS covering 2nd to get the lead runner. Very cool looking animation.

no i havent seen that.. i've played a good number of home gamss there already... though i have seen outfielders catch fly balls and when they trott back to the dug out after catching the final out of the inning..they sometimes toss the ball into the stands to a fan..which is pretty neat to see

In Anaheim... people walking in the consession area... soda is spilled on the ground, and the guy who walks past it, looks at it, and takes a larger and higher step to avoid stepping in it.
