Have u guys seen a deep ball hit to the track and the section of fans close to the ball all stand up as if they were going to try catching the ball. That happened to me in Boston when Drew went back to catch the ball.

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I let the game load up and sit there. The demo started rolling and CC Sabathia was on the mound. I like how they got his hat turned to the side just a bit in real life! Also I like how most of the pitchers resemble their throwing motions in real life. If you have seen Giant's reliever Vinnie Chulk's motions after throwing a pitch and comparing it to the one in the game, wow!
I have yet to hear the crowd chatter because I like to hear Jon and Joe talk.Last edited by richierich; 03-04-2007, 02:59 AM.NBA 2K11 My Player: 6'11 Athletic Center/PF 58ovr Rockets

If you haven't seen Griffey Jr.'s batting stance/waggle check it out, it is absolutely spot on perfect. Also love the grass/dirt stains, and how sometimes fans catch homeruns and hold the ball up in the air excitedly.Comment

After my second baseman threw the runner out at first after a hot line drive one hopper he was shaking his hand like he caught it on the heel of the glove and was in pain!NCAA Vets League: Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2, 6-1)

Re: Little Things Thread.....
While playing my best game so far, here's what happened:
Great pitching match up, CIN-Milton at CLE-Sabathia. No score after 7 complete innings. C.C. is one-hitting me, while also compiling 13 K's, and Milton has only allowed 3 hits and punched out 9 Indians. Top of the 8th, Brandon Phillips is at the plate with a 1-1 count. He proceeds to hit a grounder to 2nd for the first out of the inning. After this, C.C. is pretty much gassed (11% stamina left), so the Manager comes out and pulls him out... NOW, here's what's so damn cool about the whole thing... a cut scene shows C.C. stepping out of the dugout, tipping his hat a couple of times and waving to the fans, which btw were franticly chanting "CC!!! CC!!! CC!!!".
Then, at the bottom of the 8th and with a runner on first, Sizemore, on a 1-2 count (and after I just served him a fat one), hits a 2-run HR... and then comes out of the dugout and raises his arms and pumps his right fist... OMFG!!! is all I have to say. After experiencing that, I didn't care about losing the game 2-0... it was just an AMAZING couple of "little things" that pretty much just made my afternoon.
I've seen something similar. While trying to tag up a batter that had just bunted towards first base, the MF ran past my pitcher thanks to a nifty sidestep he took to avoid the tag... I was like... HOLY ****!!!Last edited by Devil24; 03-03-2007, 06:46 PM.Comment

grounder to 1st base and the pitcher was running over to cover the base. I decide to take it myself and knock Smoltz on his azz ! Most games you don't have to worry about collisions. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Little Things Thread.....
Playing against Boston, Ortiz hit a shot down the line that skipped over the wall for a ground rule double.
The fans in the front row were looking for the ball, then one guy found it, but bobbled it into the field. That fan then leaned over the wall to get the ball.
Nothing major. I was playing an early season game against the Braves in my franchise. There was hardly anybody in the place! This is true to real life because the Braves have fair weather fans...they come out whenever the team is heading towards the playoffs! Great "little thing" that showed a "little truth."Comment

Weirdest group of fans in baseball."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
