Re: Little Things Thread.....
The game I played earlier,Schmidt (Dodgers) threw a complete game, and at the end of the game they showed him with his teammates, and face was covered in sweat..awesome stuff.
BTW....I checked his pitch count ....110,no wonder he was sweating:y4:People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

I like how on a righty/righty or lefty/lefty matchup, the camera is slightly offset while on a lefty/righty or righty/lefty matchup the camera is perfectly centered.
Nice touch, makes breaking balls tougher to judge, just like real life.Comment

I like how they show stats from the game before when a batter is up to bat.Comment

When playing in a windy game....i noticed how much the players' and umps' unis shiver in the wind. At first i thought it was a graphical glitch, but when i looked at it closer and realized that i set the weather conditions to windy i almost shat my pants.Huge Fan of the New Orleans Saints & New Orleans Pelicans!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I was playing as the Yankees at Shea. Delgado hit a ball to deep Right. I ran back with Abreu. On the warning track, he tried to make a running over the shoulder catch, the ball bounced off my glove and over the wall! It counted as a HR. They showed the replay twice and Joe Morgan and Eggman talked about how embarassing it must be.
Awesome.
I also love how they not only got pitchers motions in the game, but also the way they follow through, and they way they get the ball back from the catcher and return to the mound. So cool.
Another thing, catchers seem to know how to call games. I pitched as Pettitte and Posada was calling cutters inside all game long. It was awesome. I played as Moose and Posada was setting up all over the place. Fastballs up and in, change-ups low and away, knuckle-curve down and in to lefties. I was blown away by what a good game he calls!Comment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I accidentally switched sides at the plate, and when I switched back, the commentators talked about it for a little bit. I thought that was pretty cool. Another teeny weeny little thing is notice the security guy on the concessions stand cutscene is animated pretty well. He moves around, shifts his weight from foot to foot...generally looks bored as hell. Nice touch.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

ps- i think bunting has made it's way back into the game! I noticed it at the Nats' field on Opening DayComment

Re: Little Things Thread.....
I've only played one exhibition game so far, but I noticed that when I took a pitch, Nick Swisher (could have been Chavez!) looked the ball into the catcher's glove and shrugged off the called strike. Totally made me giddy.
Also, I hit a bomb off the foul pole and I heard the "ding!" of the metal.Comment
