    Re: PS3 Patch Update

Thank you very much for the feedback/recommendation. I will keep The Show. 2K does have some pretty sweet graphics but The Show's gameplay is very fluid (even in 1080P). I have a new Panasonic 50" 1080P plasma and the graphics and colors are extremely crisp and vibrant. Anyhow, hopefully 2K will put out a more complete game in '08 and The Show better graphics. Thanks again for your help. Greatly appreciated.

I agree. Even with the patch there's still needed work for the game. The biggest differences to me between the two games is the pitcher/batter interfaces.

I don't know, maybe I haven't played enough time w/ the patch, but it feels so much better to me. I'll repost after I play some more, but right now I'm really loving it post patch

          Re: PS3 Patch Update

I went ahead and picked up 2K7 today (bought used) and am enjoying so far. The patch seems to have fixed most of the issues (frame-rate, AI, etc.) that I was experiencing pre patch. I still have The Show BTW but am having fun with 2K7 right now. Playing on All Star level but had to put the batting power sliders (both human and CPU) at 0 because there are way too many home runs at default settings. Anyhow, having batting power at 0 seems to make the game play much more realistic (still hit three home runs, two line drive doubles and a few bloop singles into the shallow outfield during my first game and AI had two home runs and a couple doubles as well). I ended up winning 8-6. Again, having fun with this game thus far. Thanks.

After you install the update go to the Yankees roster and look at their hitter from AA named Michael Wolterman, he has the picture of a little boy lol. I dont know if this was an honest mistake by 2K or a goof.
