I've read this POV many times of course in this forum. I suppose the point of it is to shut people up by making them feel selfish and stupid for 'complaining'. The fact is though, this is a discussion forum. And people on this thread are discussing, not complaining.
Speaking as a dev, I think you have every right to complain. And you should, especially during the March-April period when devs are most likely to be searching the boards. I'm just saying that when you ask, "Why'd they do A, B, and C while neglecting to fix D, E, and F?", the answer's often more complex than you might think.

The complaining is find. If you feel the product is inferior, it is important that the producer of said product gets this feedback so that they know what they have to improve. But I am so tired of the "There is no excuse" comments. If you think it is so easy, go develop your own game. I'm not a developer, but I know it isn't easy. I would like to see more crowd interaction and emotion, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that if that was an easy thing to fix, it would be fixed. But it likely isn't that simple.

And I've got to say that I don't understand the hooplah about the bat sounds. I bought this game with my 360 in April, and I honestly couldn't tell you what sound the bat makes. If it is that bad, then yeah, sure, fix it. Should it really be a priority though? I think that is starting to nitpick a lot. Crowd interation, no away alternates, etc, are all valid complaints, but the sound of that bat?

Well, the sound of the bat has been fixed. This was already confirmed.

In keeping with the house analogy, this is why people hire realtors and home inspectors, and why they don't rush out and buy the house, just because it's on the market. If it's not worth the money they're asking, don't put an offer on it
          But.....

the house market is so slow right now the prices have to drop to spark the economy. So many home owners/realtors have to make serious cuts or no sales will happen. Especially when they can get something thier looking for by just investing a small amount..say 460.00 knowing in the future the home has a solid interior and exterior... so they can look forward to polishing up the driveway etc in the following years instead of carpet and paint.....
