Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
My main gripe is that I can't seem to swing and miss. If I time it correctly and if it's in or around the strike zone, I'm guaranteed contact. Again, I only have the demo... so maybe lowering the contact slider helps this. But this is exactly why I wanted a Zone hitting option.
Spot on. You never see misses even with **** hitters. If you put the batters eye looking high and the pitcher pitches a nice sinker that starts mid high and drops low, you should wiff, imo. that may be the way it works, i don't know.Xbone gamertag: horsehockey75Comment

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
What the heck does batter's eye do beyond let you "see" where the pitch will be?
If you move the left stick around (Hitstick 2.0), without the batters eye highlight circle up there, you can feel the vibration of the strike box. It seems like if you hold LS slightly down you hit a grounder, and slightly up you hit a flyball. All the way up and you pop it up, all the way down and you hit the ball too hard straight down resulting in a hard bunt type of shot.Xbone gamertag: horsehockey75Comment

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
Minor detail, but is there any way to make your outfielder make an easy toss to the cutoff man after they catch a fly ball with no one on base?
When the CPU does this, they have a cool animation of the outfielder tossing it back in casually, but when I do it, my guy always rears up like he's trying to throw someone out. It's just an aesthetic thingComment

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
Does anybody know how to get your sliders on to your franchise???
I have all my sliders set and saved under my difficulty. Then I try to start a franchise and the sliders are set back to default. I tried loading them but nothing worked.
Anybody know how to get your sliders to your franchise? So I don't have to edit them everytime I start a franchise??Comment

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
By the way, has anyone ever ran through a ball as if your player should have caught it but just plain decided not to? I feel like it has something to do with pre-loading your throw. Always try to pre-load before the ball approaches you, otherwise it might just run through, crediting the hitter with a single to boot.Comment

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
My biggest complaint with the game at this point is that there's no way to show pitch history. That would be so helpful with batting that it's not even funny. Oh well.
Edit: Oh hey my 100th post. That only took four years...--

Re: The "How do you do that...." thread
In the manual it says to make a contact swing just simply pull the Right stick back and let go. Well when i do this it does nothing. No swing at all. The only time i can get my batter to swing is pulling back on the stick and then pushing it left, right, or up. Am i doing something wrong?Comment
