Well I have to differ on the outfielders appearing slow, if you watch an MLB game quite normally the first few steps are very slow as they gauge the approach of the ball off the bat. I mean, this slow, no, but I can live with it.

My biggest problem with the game is the lack of little things. It just seems very bland right now, but I'm looking forward to the patch regardless of that.
I have had the same experience playing a season with the mets...not a single 1st base issue in 8 games now. When I first started a season with the Red Sox is was an every game issue, so my guess is that it is team dependant.

            Bravo.
Now now, don't go scaring noobs....there is no charge.

Did anyone ever figure out whether it has anything to do with the first baseman being left- or right-handed? Does it happen on throws from any one position or all three (2B, SS and 3B)?
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will these two patches be coming out for the Wii?

I have no idea about Wii stuff, but there is a chance i guess that patch for the other systems can come out tonight since MS does their updates today, but this is just me reaching for something. lol

Like i said, at 3am is when MS does their updates.

When I used the Dodgers, I never had it happen and Looney throws left handed. Using the A's it happened at least once a game with Giambi who throws right handed. However Delgado throws right handed too, so not sure why the guy with the Mets didn't see it, but I have yet to ever see it with a left handed (in the field) first baseman for whatever reason.

Well, I gave it a try starting my new Tigers franchise, benching Sheffield and trading minor leaguers to the Yankees for Swisher, since he throws lefty. Not one error in first four games. Inge was regularly pulling Cabrera off the bag on nutted throws.

^^I play with the RED SOX and its happened about 4 times in 12 games; and those throws were either rushed, off balance or thrown to hard and not releasing the ball on the throw at the correct time.

I dont think the first base problem is a bug at all.

I agree, it's all in how you release the throw. I bet the same people will see this after the patch.

There is no charge for a patch. No one is billed $8.99 for a patch. He obviously is either lying to stir up trouble or downloaded something else.

Don't strike fear into people like that. It's simply not true.

Nice if that was true, but i would say 80% or more of the time it happened to me it happens when I am in a normal throw, right in the green. Besides, why would it be the through when the player on 1st base starts off that way, like it is pre determined before the throw ever starts.
