Really just depends. I started this just about 2 months ago, I used to play 3 games a day, then when I was really busy for a few weeks I only played one game a day or even none for a few days. I even played 6 games one night when I was really bored and there was nothin to do. It takes a lot of time to be able to play a full season in two and a half months(which is about how much time is left before August). I was only able to play 3 games a day because I'm out of school and don't have a job, but now I'm much more busy.

But if you play 3 games a day, all the way through consistently(which is obviously not possible at times, due to being gone or work or whatever) you can be done in just under two. If you do about 2.5 per day(3 one day, 2 another), you can be done in just over two months. Playing two a day is just a little over two and a half months.

All of those are just based off of dividing 162 by that number, and probably isn't realistic because of how before I mentioned there's other things in life that will get in your way of being able to play a certain amount of games every single day.

                  Re: MLB 2K10 Franchise Progress

Posted in another thread, I have progressed very well with my Kansas City Royals. However, I am currently 10-19 and my top gunner Zack Greinke who is simulated is 1-5 with a 6.06 ERA! My teams jacked though, I started the season as:

87 Pitching, 81 Batting, 87 Overall and I made a trade to get rid of Brian Bannister who was just doing terrible, so I obtained Jered Weaver. Now I am 96 Pitching, 81 Batting, 90 Overall. Still, the Royals are finding ways to lose as always. I had 35.97 million available in funds until I sent Farnsworth to the minors for a back-up Catcher (Jacob Jackson 66 OVR), and now I have 25+ mill.

I am thinking the staff is the reason the Royals are doing terrible, there is no way I can be 10-19 right now. Luke Hochevar is my only bad pitcher (70 OVR), but he is user controlled by me cause I am trying to develop him to an 85 OVR by next year. Currently I am 3-1, 2.87 ERA.

I am thinking about firing the staff, but they have long 5 year contracts (damn you Walmart!).

Godzilla will awake (George Brett era) and destroy the Yankees once again! <Evil Laugh>

                    Re: MLB 2K10 Franchise Progress

Been on a roll w/ the M's since taking over for them in August. Have won every series so far in August (vs TEX, KC, and OAK), and am about to embark on a 12 game road trip facing off with CLE, BAL, NYY, & BOS...each series 3 game sets.

The AL West is a tight race right now. The A's are out the picture, but only a game and a half seperate SEA, TEX, and LAA from being #1 in the division. Should be a helluva race to the finish.

Adam Dunn, since becoming a Mariner, is leading the majors in HRs w/ 34. He's hit sixteen over the last month. Just beat Oakland in a 3-game set after both Felix Hernandez & Cliff Lee threw complete games allowing no more than 2 runs in their respective starts.

I switched my pitching camera from the one where you're behind the pitcher on the mound, to the camera being behind the batter. Love it! It's like I was catching for Lee or Felix...it seemed to aid in m K's too as I struck out 12 w/ Hernandez (vs OAK), and 6 w/ Lee.

Wish me luck on my quest to win the West.

Forgot to mention, the Yankees are doing bad too so far, the commentators were discussing the standings during one of my games and the Bronx Bombers were 2-10! I am not sure what their record is now though

Ive won 7 in a row. Hafner homered 3 times my last game!!

I also called up Carlos Santana and traded a AAA outfielder and Mike Redmond for Brad Ausmus and Xavier Paul.

                          Thoughts?

Started a franchise with the Nationals yesterday. Made a few moves right away to bolster the rotation. Acquired David Price in exchange for a few young prospects. Also acquired Kyle Blanks from the Padres for Josh Willingham and a prospect. Made a few moves to help the pen as well. Signed Seth McClung, personal favorite. Jermaine Dye was brought in for some power, but hasn't produced anything as of yet. I realize the moves probably aren't the most realistic, but the team is still 1-5. I'm having a heck of a time getting hits when I play. I seem to only get singles, one per inning, then the rest are ground ball or fly ball outs. Any tips for getting the hitting down?

May look to start another franchise with the O's or A's as a side project.
                            Teams:

                            NFL - Packers & Browns
                            MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
                            Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton
                            NHL - Wild

I used the trade finder with Milledge and was offered Nolan Reimold from the O's. He's got better batting and fielding ratings but is a huge speed downgrade. On the flip side Milledge hasn't done crap all. He gets hits but most of the time they're useless ones and I can't seem to get a hit with him when he actually has a chance to get some RBIs. He's also the only non-pitcher starter without a HR,yes even Cedeno has two and he's -10 in the power ratings.

As I took on Sizemore and Phillips' massively overpaid contracts I don't have any $ to sign a speedy or powerful FA to pinch hit or pinch run so that's not an option.

I use the Pirates as well, I make myself the SS

For some reason the only pitcher I can use correctly is Orendorff who I am dominant with...the other stink as they should

Doumit, myself and Jones are the only players I have any success with, the rest are hitting around .200

I will have to redo my franchise when the patch comes out, as the stats are driving me crazy
