Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
I enjoy 2k11 on 360 and 2k12 on pc too much to bother with 2k13. The current 2k11 rosters on 360 are good enough to play franchise wise, and the graphics on pc 2k12 are good enough to marvel at.
If it was released on the pc I'd pay $30.
For 360? Maybe $40.Comment

I own every baseball game on God's green earth....so I'll get it, but since it isn't going to be a necessity to play, I'll wait for a price drop if it's regular retail to start.

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
The NFL didn't care that 2K sold their game for $20. Otherwise they could have just changed their licensing agreement to require them to sell new software at a minimum price.
EA cared that their competition was undercutting their price/profit. THAT'S why THEY went to the NFL for the exclusive deal.Comment

I really love playing this game, and look forward to it arriving. I'm strictly a 360 guy - so this is my baseball game each year. If it's $60, then so be it... I don't buy many games anymore, so it's well worth the money. But that's just me...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

From what I've read (looking for links now), the NFL wasn't very pleased with 2K offering their product for such a low price, making their brand look bad.
So they went out looking for an exclusive deal and contacted EA first. The rest is history.
I really hope that eventually all licenses are opened up so that anyone can make whatever sports game they want. Competition is great for consumers.Comment

I may be wrong, but I had heard different.

Regardless, that was the beginning of the end of my obssessive sports gaming...so maybe a good thing in the end.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
I used to buy 2k & Show every year, that is until last year.
I haven't had as much time to play two baseball games, & bein' a PS3 owner,
I stuck with the Show last year.
Long story long, I would buy 2k this year if it were less than $30.
I don;t see that happenin' though.
When 2k12 comes down in price, I won;t be able to resist finally pickin' it up,
even though I'll only play it sparingly.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
If the game plays like the real major leagues, have a smarter ai, a deeper franchise mode that rivals mlb the show, and I don't have to adjust the sliders to make the game play realistically and put out realistic baseball stats, I would pay full price for mlb 2k12. All of the problems the previous games had I could actually live with. My main problem with the 2k baseball franchise has been the unrealistic stats that were put out between the user and the computer. I would have off these wall scores and stats that would reflect stats from the real world. Sliders can't fix these type of problems. But that's just me..Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
Im going to assume that this is going to be a cheaply made game. Most likely will change two small things and update the rosters. They will try and sucker people out of 60 bucks. They still will likely end up losing money on it thoughComment
