I guess PCers won't have to worry about paying anything.

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
Nope, not true at all. Playing only Franchise mode, updated rosters is totally irrelevant to me. If that's all this is, I wouldn't pay $1 for it. I'll wait for the reviews and see if there are any real improvements.Comment

As a casual baseball guy who likes 2K12, and doesn't sense there will be major upgrades for '13, I don't see myself spending much more than $20. But still glad it is coming out, and will be reading the impressions thread.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
I'm kind of in a conundrum about which version to buy; Xbox or PS3.
The PS3 is hooked up to our main TV and surround sound while the Xbox is in the basement for the kids to mess with.
Hooking up the Xbox to the main TV wouldn't be too much trouble, but it's still inconvenient.
And the kids will be playing it mostly on the weekends when I want to play, haha.
My main concerns are:
a) Xbox version will look nicer.
b) Xbox will get better support for patches and rosters on 2Kshare (from other users).
Not sure which to go with.Comment

I have no problem paying the $60 for it. Hopefully they'll have better post release support and we won't have to wait 3+ months for a patch. I agree moving the Astrols over to the AL West is important as I am sure they have done that no reason for it to be left out.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
Depends on the reviews. I definitely will not spend $60. I MIGHT go as high as $30 if it gets good reviews. But probably won't go more than $15-20 used because I think it will be exactly the same as last year.Comment

PCs do rule, but they can be so inconvenient, especially if you use yours for stuff other than gaming.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13, how much are you willing to pay?
probably not full price unless we get a polished game this year. I actually just picked up 2k12 for 20 bucks because i figured it will give me some fun for a couple months. I'm not even sure it's worth it but I'm having fun with it. The two things this game has going for it are mlb today and the pitching mechanics. It's just fun to play.
In reality i paid full price for the game since i buy it every year then trade it in. was it worth it? No.
I spend a ton on sports games. I bought madden this year. nba 2k13 and the show. All full price. The only game that was worth it was nba 2k13. Even the show how awesome it is i think i'm done. It's just not that fun to play. I end up going back and forth every year between the two baseball games and end up having more fun with 2k. Both games when it comes down to it are baseball. The Show looks a ton better but I like the controls in 2k. every game has been traded in except nba 2k13 and now i have mlb 2k12 for 20 bucks and will wait.Last edited by celtics6; 01-15-2013, 08:47 PM.Comment

I'll get it when it goes on sale for $29.99 or $19.99. I barely have time to play MLB The Show and I enjoy that game more than 2K, so I will get 2K13 at some point, but not until it reaches a price point I am willing to pay for it.Currently Playing:
