Well now you can trade Chris Owings for Sergio Romo.

      Braves update: (Waittilnextyear sliders)

I finished August with a great record, because I had a 11 game win streak along with a few other short streaks, but ended month with losing 2 out of 3 from Indians, and 2 out of 3 from Marlins(I'm glad they are out of playoff hunt, for some reason they have my number??) My record was 19-8. I am holding a 6.5 game lead over Nationals with September call-ups. got Hudson and Braden back from DL recently. I am loving all games win or lose, had one sided affairs and down to the wire games. Love to get 10 game lead, so I can try out some call ups. Pretty much have NL east matchups, Padres, Cubs, Brewers. Overall record is 80-56, with 26 games to go. I lead majors with team HR's at around 184 for season. This is with multiple players at or above 20 HR's for season, BJ Upton, Justin Upton, McCann, Heyward, Sandoval, Freeman, Uggla. No one is at 30 though. Everyone sharing the love. Team ERA is one of the best as expected as well. Cannot wait to get home and start September against Mets.

Re: MLB 2K13: The Franchise Mode Thread

Started a franchise in hopes of making me more interested in baseball. Never really kept up with baseball besides playing fantasy. I decided to be the Rangers because they're my favorite team. I simulated a lot and played some, about 30 games. I ended up winning the world series! Andrus was batting over 300 throughout the season. Profar batted around 285. I won about 95 games. I started year two, with Profar progressing to 85, Olt and Martin to 78. Traded Moreland to make room for Olt. now 19-5, and I've realized this is too easy. Looking for more of a challenge that involves rebuilding and trading older players for good prospects. Any suggestions for a team?

I don't recommend trading Lawrie, but if you do, trade him for something good. Not Patrick Corbin.

Corbin is pretty good, he already has 12 wins, era under 2.50,140ks and whip 1.04(real 2013 stats)HeS better tan anyone In The toronto rotation. The problem is Im looking for a pretty good 3b, to replace aging prado, and corbin is one of my best sp In my team but for some reason i cant pitch with him , so HeS rotting In The AAA, lawrie is a good player but he hasnt produced as expected, but he is a fan favorite, so i dont know.

Im 10-9 In my second sea son with arizona, Im looking for that 3b i will make that trade after The allstr break, so any other suggestions?

It's not exactly realistic, but if you want to trade for Lawrie, you're going to have to give a lot more.

No problem. Good luck working out a deal though since they have a lot of young arms and won't be needing Corbin...
