I'm not involved with the stadium art creation, so I'm not sure. I do know that grass and dirt textures have been redone for every stadium, and they look really good. 100x better on PS2 than last year's.

      FP,
Does the power swing animation still look like a slow-pitch softball swing?

-Will there be a greater variety in the type of hits? For example, more balls going over the heads of out fielders, fly balls into the gap (instead of screaming line drives, which were about the only thing that got into the gaps), balls down the line, etc.

-will there be outfielder collisions this year?

Yes, stealing bases is harder, especially when the pitcher's throwing a pitchout or a high fastball and when you don't get a good lead to start out with. The player ratings are taken into consideration a lot more than they were last year as well.

Batting averages will depend on your players, skill, options, and sliders. We've made the hardest difficulty harder than it was last year, so you should be able to find a setting where you get realistic stats.

There is a greater variety of hits, plus an array of sliders that you can use to adjust power, outfielder speed, infielder speed, etc. to alter the game balance if you want. You can also turn "speed boosts" on or off.

            No outfielder collisions.

There will still be "glove suction" sometimes, although I actually prefer this to what some other games are doing (bending the ball path so that it goes into the glove).

The baserunners have the same frame rate as everyone else...we've tweaked the "run" animation to eliminate hitches, not sure if that answers your question.

            No create-a-team.

Fictional player franchise/GM Career is still there. That's the way I like to play as well.

            Only 1 person per team.

No, that's gone. I'm assuming you're talking about the thing where the batter lifts his leg a foot in the air when he's stepping into the pitch.
