    Re: Any questions?

I'd say that franchise mode is the same as last year, except with some tweaks and bugs fixed. Like the roster editor lineup problem, and now there's probably better AI Trade Logic, and maybe you can use GameCast?

oh yeah also is the trade Ai better this year, and also can other teams offer you a contract to be their gm. Like say you do really well for the Cubs, may the yankees then make an offer to you once your contract expires. Also does each team get the same amount of cash to spend, or do some teams get more than other. For example: the yanks should definetely have more money to spend that the Brewers.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Hey FP, hope to get this question answered. As it really is something I'm having trouble figuring out. Here goes, hope I can get what I'm trying to say across.

My question is regarding the new cursorless batting system. I've hated the cursor for awhile now, and last year MVP did hitting pretty well, and have improved upon in this year. You guys have countered with the 360 batting, which sounds promising. What I want to know is, do you find it easier to hit this way? And how is the HR ration using the cursorless batting? I'm still on the fence about this system..

I didn't really like the "Timed Hitting" you guys had last year. Even with the VERY FAST pitch speed, batting just wasn't much fun. Don't get me wrong, you guys win hands down at fielding, and behind the pitcher cam.

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Yes, it's still plenty challenging (and there's a slider you can use to turn down HRs, too). We've sped up the pitch speed to faster than Very Fast was last year. Also, turning up the difficulty makes it so that you have to aim better to make contact/good contact. It's far more difficult than Timing Only, especially on the higher difficulty levels.

Unless you do fictional players or fantasy draft, teams will have budgets similar to what they have in real life.

Yes, you can get new jobs if your contract expires in GM Career.

We've fixed a few bugs in the trade AI, such as potential being taken into account better, value of players vs. their current contracts, etc.

You can't do it manually, but the AI is a lot better in choosing who it holds on base (last year it was everyone in all situations, this year speed and situation are taken into account) and fielders who are holding a runner on will take a few steps back towards their normal position once the pitcher begins his delivery.
