also do mound visits have any significance, like boosting or lowering confidence or giving more stamina or giving pitchers more time to warm up. Also is there a button to start fights like MLB and MVP
Any questions?

Thanks for the response to my earlier inquiries Fat Pitcher. Here are a few more questions:
1. Last year's game had night games in which the field seemed too dark along the first and third base lines and in the corners. Has this been addressed?
2. Do any of the games begin when it is dusk and progress into darkness?
3. Do any of the retractable roofs work in the game?
4. What other sliders have been added?
5. You said in an earlier post that this year's game had ball physics. Does this include splash hits or do balls just bounce around in the stands? Do foul balls have ball physics.
6. I would like to see an option or slider where one could increase the number of foul balls therefore, making it seem like you are fighting off pitches and hanging tough until you can get a pitch to hit. Has anything like this been done for this year?
Thanks again Fat Pitcher.

1. I can't say that I saw this problem myself, but the lighting has been redone this year, so maybe you'll be able to see from a movie whether it's been fixed.
2. no
3. no, so for Miller Park it's realistic
4. There are a bunch. PM me a reminder and I'll get the list when I go to work tomorrow.
5. Balls bounce off *most* solid objects in the stadiums (no splash hits, sorry). Occasionally (on long HRs) it'll pass through something, but that's the exception, not the rule. Foul balls will bounce off walls and objects, too.
6. That's one of the things the "contact" swing was intended for last year -- you get a wider timing window, so on pitches that throw off your timing, you have a better chance of making contact and fouling it off. Have you noticed this, or do you think it was too subtle? We haven't put in a slider for timing window or for foul balls. We did add fouls back into the screen, though, which I suppose adds to the overall foul ball total (last year these would have been popups).Comment
