if possible bullet 3/5 improvements of the franchise mode

GM Career is the biggest improvement. You work for an owner who makes various demands and your pay and job security depend on how well you can meet his expectations. Owners have different personalities and different areas of focus (you may have an investor owner who is interested only in money, or a dictator who accepts nothing less than the world series every year, etc.). The goals are a little more realistic than in other similar modes -- you aren't just trying to pile up stats, you have to do things like get a power hitter in the offseason, get rid of an underperforming/disloyal/overpaid player, make a certain amount of profit, etc. There's an actual way to win the game instead of just going on indefinitely. I like this mode because it makes every year of franchise mode different; you have to use different strategies to succeed year after year instead of following the same formula every time.

There have also been improvements to the draft, trade, and signing logic, as well as the lineup generation, AI handling of pitchers, simulation, etc. You can play any game on the schedule, not just your own, as well as use the GameCast feature to watch games as they simulate, make substitutions, etc.

No multiplayer franchise or GM Career, although we still allow up to 30 users in Season mode.

Coaches age and retire, lots of franchise-specific stat overlays in the game itself, and probably some other things that I'm forgetting.

I also answered questions last year, and according to gamerankings, it wasn't quite rock-bottom.

i know both of these are hard to answer questions but they are important ones: why should i buy this game instead of the other games on the market especially since the other ones are looking much better, and also please answer the queston above

                        1. Are outfeild throws less lofty?
                        2. Have the running animations been improved?
                        3. How many more player specific swinging and pitching animations are in the game? Is griffeys follow through in the game this year?
                        4. In pro-player stadium, is there anybody sitting in the off-limit seats in left feild like last year(Theres no railings at those seats). Have you guys given them a world championship banner?
                        5. How has the atmosphere been improved?
                        6. How the hell did you motion capture D-trains pitching motion (just curious)?

                        1. In general, yes. In some cases, we left them a little bit loopy for game balance reasons, but less so than last year.
                        2. Ahh, the monkey-run. We've taken the hitches out of the various run/walk/jog animations, but putting in a new run would require changing literally thousands of animations that blend with the run.
                        3. We don't have signature follow-throughs. We added about 20 (?) new waggles this year and 15 (?) sets of signature pitcher animations.
                        4. Dunno, don't have the game in front of me right now
                        5. We added humidifiers to all the stadiums. And fixed a lot of crowd audio problems. Pregame commentary, more ESPN stuff, etc.
                        6. A pitcher from Oakland's AAA club named Justin did it. He did a little bit of stretching first. Marichal's is pretty crazy, too.
