What makes you say that? He's never had more than 16 saves (and that was one season...after that the most was 6). This season he's 0-1 with 4 saves and a 2.38 ERA. I would definitely not say he's one of the top in baseball...in fact, I'd say he's one of the poorest closers in all of baseball.

This claim is rediculous !!!! I have Nen in my bullpen and the very first save he lost it 2-1 bottom ninth protecting a 1-0 lead and BOOOM 2 run shot !!! i said hey he does that sometimes in real life as well. Since then he has 7 saves and has 7 of 8 saves now with 1 blown. He also let a team tie in the 9th but i whent on to win later while he was still pitching and he got the win. There has got to be some sort of team come back in the game ... why even play if there isnt at times - BORING

Its happened to me too. Even if you throw a pitch to a players cold zone, they will still get a hit once in a while. Thats how baseball is. You win some, you lose some.

Its happened to me too. Even if you throw a pitch to a players cold zone, they will still get a hit once in a while. Thats how baseball is. You win some, you lose some.

Really though, the Reds led in all 5 of the games they lost in real MLB last week. They have also blown at least 3 games in which they held the lead going into the 9th, so it does happen in real life. Oh, and they also blew a 9 run lead last week, so the EA screw is well and alive in real MLB as well! I suggest an intentional walk here and there! Oh, and Octavio Dotel isn't god, neither is Mariano Rivera. How many saves has Dotel blown in real life already, 2 or 3 at least? Now Gagne of the Dodgers, he just might be god in a bullpen. Make a trade for Gagne, dude is automatic bro!
