Dotel was my reliever in the game and he was not tired. He is probably one of the top relievers in MLB and should not be giving up home runs!. Ptittsburg got a total of 5 hits through 8 innings, but they somehow manage to get 4 in the nineth inning alone with Dotel pitching.

I have seen this happen a lot so far. At first I did not think much of it, but I have a LOT of blown saves. Every single loss so far is a blown save in fact.

That should tell you that your bullpen stinks. I have lost a few games in the 9th as well, but it happens in real life. I've also thrown complete game shutouts. in fact, I just beat Texas 2 in a row, shutting them out in both.

Hey, anything can happen. Why is Pittsburgh 12-11 right now in real life? Why is Craig Wilson in the top 10 in most NL offensive categories for the Pirates this year? I live in Pittsburgh so I know about this team. It's not a very good offensive team, but they do have a few players who will end with 35+ HR's this year.

In 20 games so far, I have 1 blown save and 7 saves. Only 1 blown save. That tells me something..... This is against NYY, TB, TOR and BALT.

With a closer you can't just sit back and throw gas. You still need to really mix up your pitches.

What makes you say that? He's never had more than 16 saves (and that was one season...after that the most was 6). This season he's 0-1 with 4 saves and a 2.38 ERA. I would definitely not say he's one of the top in baseball...in fact, I'd say he's one of the poorest closers in all of baseball.
