Sorry if this has been posted already, but I'm pretty sure I just had a franchise game that didn't register. It was the opening day game between the White Sox and Indians. Played through the first game last night, won, saved, went to sleep. Just loaded the save file today and the game was played, because my record is 1-0 and Cleveland is 0-1, and Rowand's three homer game is shown on the around the league page, Buehrle's stats reflect his opening day start, yet the game is still on the schedule, Buehrle and Millwood in fine health and ready to play again. And if I sim the game out, it once again plays out the game, logs the stats, yet the game is still there on the schedule, ready to be played again. I thought maybe it was a corrupt save file, but I had a seperate save that I made before playing that game, and if I load that one and sim the game out, the same thing happens, game is recorded, but on the schedule it's there to be played again. Anyone else seen this?

More info. Try this. (using default rosters, not sure if that's makes a difference. It shouldn't.) Start a franchise. Just let the cpu auto select your staff. Save. Sim the first game. Quit without saving. Reload the save file. Sim again. Notice how the schedule doesn't show the game being played, yet your stats do? It looks like it has something to do with simming your opening day game, but it's weird that it happens even if you don't save after doing so. Can someone test this real quick and see if they can replicate it so I know I'm not crazy? (I'm running the xbox version, just fyi)

I've got a couple of odd Freezing glitches. The first one is just a straight freeze that i get the first time i go to swing. THe other one is more annoying. I played 4 games this afternoon. I never save so it makes this one more annoying. I struck out a batter to end the inning but the batter stayed in the batters box like he was waiting for another pitch. My team, seeing as it was the 3rd out, walked off the field but the hitter remained. It stayed like this for about 15 minutes. I couldnt hit start or do anything, but the lights at Turner field kept moving, flashes of fans with cameras could be seen as well. Anyone else get this?

I played my first game in franchise mode. As the Braves against the Marlins. In the 5th, Hudson hit his second batter and got tossed. He was pitching a great game so this sucked because the pen gave up 3 runs and the Braves lost 3-2.

The bad part was that when I looked at the box score at the end of the game I noticed that Tim Hudson was credited with a save for the Marlins. Additionally, for some reason John Smoltz was listed in the Marlins lineup as though he had played the field but had not any ABs.

Concerned, I exited the game and went and looked at the season pitching stats, and sure enough, Tim Hudson of the Braves has 1 Save. Since this was opening day, the Braves starter went 5 innings for the Braves and got a no decision, but was also credited with a save for the Marlins.

I don't really know if this is a bug, but can anybody else get their audio settings to stay as you set them? Like, they don't seem to save with my Settings file. Unless they're supposed to save with something else, I don't think that they can be saved.

Nope, it's weird. The basic settings stay as I saved them, but commentator volume goes down, and the custom soundtrack changes from "specific stadium" to "all stadiums". Then, I end up having to start at least one game, quit, exit out of franchise, and reload the game. Usually it will work after I do all that.

Oh, I know this bug has already been stated, but I wanted to get some opinions on whether I have a faulty disk (more so than the rest). I was playing a franchise game against the Rangers this afternoon. So, I was winning going into the top of the ninth and I brought in Mo to finish it off. First pitch I threw the game locked up with nothing but the commentary loop of Joe Morgan. Frustrated, I turned my xbox off and decided to wait awhile before I played again. Tonight, I sat there for at least ten minutes trying to get my dying DVD drive to recognize the game (anyone know how much you can get at EB for a trade in on an otherwise perfect Xbox?). It finally read the disk and I went through the process above to get the soundtrack working. Well, I had an awesome game that came down to me breaking a 0-0 tie in the seventh inning. I headed into the ninth 1-0 and brought Mo in. First pitch- GAME LOCKED UP AGAIN!

Frustrated doesn't even describe how I feel.
