That's just CPU aggression, the amount of times that the CPU dives and leaps at hits, etc.

        Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread

I am really looking forward to this game, but are all those bugs/glitches gamekillers?

        The roster problem
I am a Giants fan, so no night games on the franchise
        The Wild Pitches/Passed Ball
        And maybe more?

The lineup and the wild pitches might be a gamekiller, the night games problem is not a gamekiller for me, but it does suck.

Night games would be a gamekiller for me. I would not be a team that doesn't have any night games.

The lineup shouldn't be a gamekiller... if the AI fixes it, so what? Just take 3 more minutes of your time readjusting it. The only problem is when Depth Charts get screwed up, then I'd see a reason to be pissed.

As for the passed ball... it sucks, no doubt. But, just don't advance on the pitches. That's all I can say about it.

I think I figured out what is causing the "bug". Last night I went into the roster manager and looked at a bunch of the pitchers' attributes. If you click the start button and choose edit player it'll bring you to the player create thing. Scroll over a few times until you see the fielding section, and then look at "Anticipation". Something is seriously wrong with that rating in this game. Some guys, like Mariano and Maddox, have a rating near 90, while others have a rating of 0- isn't a 0 rating impossible? (it must be, because if I touch the d-pad at all it automatically turns into a 1)

I'm pretty sure we can chalk this up to horrendous quality control by Kush. A bug is one thing, but outright laziness to not even recognize that attributes are screwed up is unacceptable.

That being said, I'm still having a great time playing this game. It's the most fun I've had with a baseball game since WSB 98 for Saturn.

Not a Cubs fan eh? J/K. I kinda like ballparks better in the daytime but I can see your beef with this. I guess i'd be saying something different if the team I used had that issue tho.

The only type of glitches that i say are gamekillers are the ones involving gameplay.

The Wild Pitches could be a GK cause not advancing on a WP is kinda unrealistic.
The lineup problem i don't know, some people say something than others say something different...

May Kush release a new "version" of the game? So that people that didn't buy it yet can buy a new one with some bugs fixed?

They're selling it for $20, I wouldn't put much faith into a new version. But, if they do re-release the game I think everyone who bought the bug filled version should get a free copy.

Yes I know, but man, trust me; I've played baseball my whole life, and have attended countless games. My uncle's a scout for the San Francisco Giants, so I live in a baseball family and would like to think I've been immersed in our pastime well enough, to know and seen how the ball plays under different conditions and circumstances. I can tell you that what I saw was physically impossible. A ball "tailing" is one thing, but a ball that completely changes its flight path on a dime, is simply ridiculous.

It appeared that by the way the ball just shot off on a 90* angle, it had hit an invisible pole, stuck in right field. The thing is though, after hitting this "invisible pole" the ball didn't even appear to of have lost any momentum and just carried off out of the stadium at Camden Yards.

The ball WAS slightly tailing, as most foul balls do when ripped down the line, but I again say, NO BALL can turn on a DIME (split second), to the opposite direction like that. Impossible.

To understand what I’m talking about, just throw a wiffle ball at the corner of a wall or doorframe. That’s how this ball moved, not once, but TWICE!
