MK, you are a machine man. I haven't had time to get a franchise rolling, but I'm almost glad, every time I check here you have a new update out and I hate to start until I get the best one . Hopefully I can get going soon though, looking forward to putting these rosters to use. Thanks for all you do for us goofballs out here.

      Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12

this may be a dumb question, mkharsh, but I'll ask it anyway.

How do you create players when you are making your updates? Do you use the "create a player" function of the game and then add him to the franchise that way? Or do you use an existing fictional player in your franchise, change his ratings, appearance, etc, and then put him on a team?

I do the latter. I'll take some scrub guy from single-A ball that is a fictional player and then change him as best that I can.

Sorry that I'm a noob at this stuff but I'm just curious.

(sometimes I use the mlb2keditor that I downloaded a while back from another site to do some minor editing on guys, but not on creating brand new guys--Donovan Hand, for instance)

Thanks again for your hard work at making this a great game.

Do these ROS files work for the PC version as well or only the Xbox version?

Question 1 - You have to copy and paste system ID and all of those long numebrs in horizon to match a roster that you have saved

Question 2- There is a seperate PC version, that hopefully there will be a seperate thread shortly to make it more convienient for you guys

go to features - 2k share - download

then find the roster you want (use your right trigger to get to the newest files) - the one that is dated April 16, 2013 under my gamertag (mkharsh33).

                download - save the file

back out of that menu and then go to options - then load.

load the file you just saved - you're now good to go.

I have already exhausted all the create-a-player slots available. So I use existing players in the minors, trying to get the correct match by player model as best as possible.

I should have a new file up on Friday - or Saturday. Making massive edits as I go, updating the file everyday. The play now games I'm doing each day have simply been the most fun and amazing baseball games I've ever played....

Quick question to everyone out there. Fairly new to all the modding software but trying to learn. I downloaded your up to date mlb 2k12 rosters and am now trying to use them on my mlb 2k10 game. I have horizon and am trying to transfer the roster file but everytime I open the 2k10 roster file and see the .ros file it will not let me replace it with the 2k12 .ros file. Any advice or step by step on how to do this? I'm just trying to convert the 2k12 roster so it works with my 2k10 game, is this possible/how do I do it? Thanks all.

I followed the steps exactly but I keep getting, "you do not have the required gamer profile privileges to access the xbox live feature." Idk, bought the game used from GS, do 2K games come with an online code like EA games?

                        Thanks for the reply.

Cant get the offline file to work either. I get a "format is damaged or unknown" message. Ughh.

Yeah don't think there is a way to convert them, reditor won't open 2k10 saves.

Just want to thank everyone for their efforts on this roster (and the corresponding sliders). I picked up the game for the first time since last baseball season, downloaded the rosters and was impressed with how accurate everything was. I played a couple of "play now" games as I try to figure out what team to start a new franchise with and was pleased with how true to life everything plays. I played one game against the Mariners and King Felix pitched a 3 pitch shut-out. I thought the settings may be too difficult, but when I played against a White Sox scrub pitcher I put up 5 runs in the first 6 innings.

I'm going to have a blast with this, but does anyone have any suggestions on an AL team to play with. I would like to play home games in a nice stadium with a middle of the pack team that will be challenging to the make the playoffs with, but isn't a complete crap team. No Red Sox or Yankees.
