been following all the work by you guys in here, keeping 2k12 alive and well etc with these rosters.

here is the one thing i dont understand.

you had a guy take the rosters for a few days and work on them. he got the file, made adjustments etc with the editor. it screwed it up.

my question is, why would that guy use the basic version of the editor knowing it was different to what others have been using? that makes no sense to me.

anyway, hope you guys get back on track and something like this doesnt happen again. all of those hours lost, ugh.

mk, my usual post to you every few months lol, just ignore guys man. hit that ignore button and do what you do. bc more of us here who dont post every day etc, follow your work (and others) appreciate the time you put in. more so than the few that whine and moan about how you come off in your posts.

Dynamic ratings for all teams - all transactions updated. All teams reviewed. Solid stuff!

John Gast (STL) latest player added. Fixed Dietrich's name (FL) and fixed the Maness / Cisnero / Welker name issue glitch. Gallagher to COL AAA. Ankiel to Mets.

For you Astros fans, Altuve is currently on a Bereavement List - Jake Elmore was called up. Sorry, but that transaction is noted (which makes them go from bad to worse).

getting a copy of 2k12 back from a friend who is done with the game. im giving him trade in value for it, like 8 bucks. ha. cant wait to load these up and start a franchise or sorts.

I just bought this online for 15 dollars because the last game I had was 2k10 and noticed the old thread for that was gone. I had no idea MK was behind the 2k12 project. I look forward to getting my copy in the mail and loading up these rosters. I already know they're going to be amazing

First of all, I NEVER want to sound arrogant or selfish when I post here. I'm really bothered by the latest posts here because of the direction this thread has taken.

I do hope you know that it was just one drama queen calling you out, that IMO is arrogant and selfish himself. Just reading his posts on mvpmods.com would prove the point. Anyway much appreciate the continued work on this game.

They get updated daily. The "dynamic ratings" are a reflection of reviewing EVERY boxscore for each team, every day. The updates are provided on a daily basis, not major bumps for players. For example, RA Dickey may see a small bump in his performance simply based on his decreased ERA, but he still has a terrible overall ERA so this is reflected in the updates.

I know this might not be the answer you want to hear, but they Jays are still 17-24, a last place team. Rasmus (.238), Arencibia (.236), Lawrie (.204) aren't going to get magical bumps because those are still putrid numbers.

And when you're best starting pitchers are Ortiz and Jenkins (at the moment) that doesn't merit bumps to the other guys who still stink at this point.

ERA's:

Morrow - 4.69
Dickey - 4.83
Buerhle - 6.19
Johnson - 6.86
Romero - 12.46

Those numbers don't lie. If I give them bumps based on a 4 game winning streak, then it throws the whole system out of kilter.

Expect a new update today. Billy Buckner (no, not that guy) has been created for the revolving door known as the Angels pitching staff (now at 21 pitchers used this year, and counting).

After I go through each boxscore today I'll post a new update.

And I hope there's understanding and support for the updated numbers I've been providing. I have a scaled system I'm using, and I believe that keep things fair. I know a team like the Jays or Angels pulls at the financial heart-strings, and we want to BELIEVE those teams should be better (just because they spent the money) - but the numbers don't lie. I come at this very unbiased, and if anyone has any grievances with the ratings I'm using, post them here AND provide your rationale for your desired changes. I go strictly by the numbers...

Man I can't wait for my copy. I can only imagine what the Cardinals will look like. All their starters have looked amazing this year. The bullpen is still worries me, but now that Scrabble and Boggs are in the minors, the bullpen has been much better. Mujica, I expect big things from him the rest of the season since Motte is out for the year. Speaking of Boggs, I really hope his rating is in the low 20s. Time and time again he was given the chance to close and was brought it when the game wasn't completely over, and he blew it. I've loved all your work since 2k9 and know that what you're doing is the right way.

New Update was posted on 2K Share today. May 17 2013.

Same story as before - tons of ratings updates, including a review of batting average leaders, steals leaders & pitching strikeout leaders. Billy Buckner created/added to Angels pitching staff.

As of right now, the new updates since I posted that roster this morning are the callup of David Lough & injury of Jarrod Dyson (ROYALS) and the callup of BJ Rosenberg & send-down of Raul Valdes (PHILLIES).

With my newest sliders (last post in my slider thread) I played today's Mets (me) at Cubs (cpu). I lost 6-5 in 13 innings. Had a 5-2 lead in the 9th and Parnell blew the save - giving up a 3-run HR to Darwin Barney (of all people). Ike Davis hit 2 HR's for me (was 2-6). Was a TON of fun, though!

the only positive thing on my Mets is probably Harvey, and thats how it should be. ha
