I really dont care what you believe!
I have no need to lie about how many hrs I hit while playing a video game!
I am telling you tho I have played 10 games now in my Reds season with these sliders and I am hitting .333 as a team and I have hit 47 hrs.

I wonder what I'm doing wrong then. So your telling me you never touch the L stick at all using Classic hitting? Any advice you care to share or is it all about perfect timing

I love these sliders. Great job man... I am not into posting box scores or anything but I am having great games.

This game is great fun.. This game is fast becoming one of my favs. Says alot for alot of people because last years game was virtually unplayable.

Allright I changed the human power from 25 to 30 and started my season with the Reds over and what a difference!
The first season with the power at 30 I had played 10 games and hit 47 hrs while batting .333.
Since starting over with the power at 25 thru 3 games I have hit only 6 hrs and am batting .302 as a team.
And yes this is with classic hitting and I do not touch the left stick. It is all about timing and using the batters eye and being patient at the plate.
Dan do you use the batters eye feature? I am thinking of turning it off it seems like every time I guess the pitch location I kill the ball.

You know what's wierd? With batters eye when I guess the pitch and get excited. 9 out of 10 times being excited makes me whiff!!! I will try changing the human power as well and see what happens.

I dont use the Hitters Eye, also guys I have been working a set of sliders for swing stick. I have incorporated a few things that I have read on this site about the contact and power sliders. Also I have come up with some crazy sliders settings that are working like a charm. I plan on finalizing this set in the next day or 2 so look for it if your interested.

Guys, I have posted a new set of sliders for Swing Stick, if you are enjoying these I would say give the new ones a try, with the sliders as is or just punch in the Classic Hitting sliders you are using for Human Contact and Power and just leave the rest with the new settings. I believe you will see even better gameplay.

Scrap the other Sliders that I created earlier because there are just about as realistic as you can make them, I believe. You can use them for Swing Stick or Classic Swing I have posted Contact and Power sliders for both. Also you can use Zone or Payoff Pitching. I can’t decide on the 2 of them because I like things that both interfaces offer. I other note to make here, when using Classic Swing I do not use the Left Stick at all! Don’t push up even when it’s a meat pitch. With Swing Stick I do not use the Power Swing by pushing up with the stick, I just pull back and release. By not adding the extra power to the swings you will see more realistic homerun totals. Give these a try you will not be disappointed. Provide some feedback on how it goes.

Well Dan, I was just messing around tonight, because I've had numerous games time after time with the swing stick. Told myslef I would never go back to just pushing a button, especially after NHL 07, I felt like it was so "old gen", so I said "What the Heck", I was wrong. I just played the most enjoyable game I've ever experienced with this year's MLB title using these sliders. The only changes I made to them were I put AI Diveback at 100(I still pick guys off at this #) Meat Pitch at 0(only need 2-3 a game to hopefully take advantage of) AI Pickoff at 20(tired of diving back into 2nd everytime I'm there), AI fatigue at 45(I take every first strike unless it's a meat pitch, AI Steal Home at 0(this happens once a year at the most, and I've had 3 guys attempt it at anything above) Thanks for all your hard work and producing a great set of sliders.
