Like the sliders but I have a few issues.

      1) Too many doubles in the gap.
      2) Too many hits...at least 10 per game
      3) Too many "robbed" Hrs. This one annoys me the most and its now happened to me 3 straight games. Any advice as to how to get rid of these?

      Thanks again!!!

I switched to the zone pitching 1, which is a lot tougher than payoff, which I do like. I changed a few things, I am at work now, I am trying to remember off the top of my head. I have the pitching interface at 90, and I believe everything else is the same. I have noticed that like the poster said above, they are a lot of doubles in the gaps, and not too many hits down the line. Just wondering if you are seeing a wide array of different hits?

I think power at 50 is WAY too high. Anything above 40 creates way too many doubles. Right now I have player power at 35 and it seems to be working good, but i'll play a few more games to make sure. I've also moved pitching interface speed down to 80 (if you're using zone pitching) and CPU skill to 95. I may be bumping up the CPU throw strikes overall slider one notch, i'm drawing way too many walks.

These seem like great sliders so far.

My one question is this: Do you see a disproportionate amount of hits/outs up the middle? Perhaps it's where my timing is at, but the variety seems a bit stale without the L stick influence. I agree that it's a great way to keep the homeruns down.

What about pressing left or right? Might that be a way to get variety without increasing power too much?

Thanks again for the sliders man.

Wit hthese sliders, pretty much 80% of the balls you put in pla ywill be to the middle of the field. But if you are really early/late on a pitch you will prbably pull/go the other way with it. Yesterday i was pretty early on a up and in fast ball and Ryan Langerhans hit the ball down the right field line for a hr (almost hit the foul pole). So hitting the ball to left or right field can be done without the left stick, but it doesn't happen much.

OK...I'm loving the sliders...but I have played 3 games and haven't struck out the AI once. we have 0 strikeouts as a team.... and myself have only struck out 9 times. I have AI at 75 now, and that is only change I have made to sliders... I may increase pitch speed to cause me to strike out more, but what do I do about AI...Skill, or contact lower?...I don't want to take away from the amount of runs being produced...any suggestions..anyone else having this problem? I also use zone pitching...payoff is way to cheesey.

im likin these sliders a lot as well...but the problems im having..

                  1. I give up A LOT of home runs. They account for a large % of the runs scored against me. Ive played 6 games of my new franchise ( i played another 4 or 5 with another team too with these settings before posting) and Ive given up 20 home runs.

                  2. I also have a lot of trouble making infield plays unless the ball is hit right at me or near me..its nearly impossible to go deep in a hole or make a dive and still have time to get the guy the first

other than those, ive just been makin a few tweaks here and there. thanks again

I'd suggest both of you start lowering the AI skill slider 1 notch at a time until you are seeing the results you want

ive started to do that..I also kept in mind that during my drafted franchise, the last team I played against had Manny, Griffey, Dunn and a few other big HR guys, but I was pitching with Brandon Webb, and nailing my spots with sinkers, and thats when I started to get a lil frustrated

im still having a bit of a problem of either King the cpu too much or giving up only HRs to account for alll the runs I give up. These sliders seem to be the closest for me that I have tried, so I hope I can find a few tweaks here and there to make them ideal
