whats up guys...just finished my first game with the updated sliders.


EDIT: I played this with human contact on 0. Im bumping it up to 35 and playing a game right now.



Tigers(ME) - 0 4 0 - .154 team batting avg. 2 1B, 2 2B, 0 3B, 0 HR

Rangers(CPU) 4 9 2 - .346 team batting avg. 6 1B, 2 2B, 1 3B, 0 HR

Detroit Pitching

Bonderman - 6.0 IP, 9 H, 4 ER, 1BB, 4K, 68 PT, 20 Balls, 48 Strikes (70.59%)

Padilla - 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 IBB, 10K, 72 PT, 16 Balls, 56 Strikes (77.76%)

This was overall an extremely enjoyable game. Gonna play a few more and hope that my lack of offense was just due to getting adjusted to all the new settings and what not. other than that GREAT SLIDERS lets keep working to get these things perfect!!!!

Has anyone earned Wild Cards after using these custom sliders? Or just the normal player cards for completing a task? I'm unsure if Wild Cards are awarded on custom settings or not.

Had an amazing game last night with the latest set of sliders.....easily most enjoyable I have played yet and it felt like a genuine game of baseball.

Boston (ME) 4
Seattle (CPU) 6 12 innings

Beckett had 10 K's in 7 IP
Felix Hernandez had 12 K's in 8 IP

Johjima had 2 HR for CPU
Ortiz had a HR for me

Great mix of hits, still no steals, ellsbury had a triple, saw 3 or 4 doubles, and 5 or 6 singles throughout the game

I think human IF reactiuon should bump up a hair - they seem to sit still for a second too long when the ball is headed on the ground to one of them

This is close though - sliders are coming into shape

I used these sliders last night and everything was going good when I gave up another huge inning. The Reds hit 4-5 homers and scored 10 runs in the 4th against Ben Sheets. I kept total control pitching at 50 instead of 20 and am beginning to think that's my issue. It seems like regardless of sliders, I give up 0 runs most innings, but can't avoid a 6-10 run outburst by the opponent at some point.

Besides that, the game felt way more realistic. Both teams had a greater variety of hard hit balls, soft grounders, lazy flies, and strikeouts. With the previous set, both teams were hitting everything right on the nose. The fielding speed felt pretty good on both sides as well.

Good Morning everyone. We'll it seems people are enjoying the changes we've made. Again I wanna say thanks to everyone who has contributed not only to this thread but to the Slider Section in general. I really believe right now outside of the AI Steal Issue, we basically are real close to a final set.

The only issue I see is around the Hitting Sliders. I think the AI Hitting Sliders are pretty much good. As for the Human Hitting Sliders. I'm not sure what to do because everyone has different approaches @ the plate.

Seems very good to me, but again everyone approaches hitting different. I will plug these sets in & will wait for feedback from everyone.

Going to fire these up tonight and compare to what I changed. I only made small tweaks to fit my game but I'm eagerly anticipating using these. Thanks for all the hard work

I just tried out the updated sliders posted on page 1 and didn't have great results. I (Phillies) beat the Nats 10-1 and there only run came on a meatball when my thumb slipped. I out hit them 17-6 with 7 doubles and 4 home runs. I struck out 14 on 89 pitches and they K'd me 5 times on 100 pitches.

I know that these games happen in real life, but this one just felt a bit too easy for me. My question is, with the given stats, which sliders do you think I should tweak too make it a bit harder (less doubles, hits, HR's for me, more hits, less K's for the CPU)? I think I will start off by lowering my power, possibly skill, upping the TC Pitching difficulty and some of the CPU hitting sliders. You guys know more than me, so do you think these tweaks would do the trick?

Hi bigfnjoe just want to say thanks for giving me credit on my outfielding slider..I agree about the stealing sliders they drove me insane lol.. Anyways bro glad we got some diehard fans that are trying to find the perfect slider set.. As you said with hitting everyones skill is different so i think its hard to find the right medium with everyone there..

Quick question,.. On human infielders do you guys notice how sometimes the fielders will not even react untill its to late?? Most of the time there ok but once a game or so its like they have a brain fart.. Im gona play a few games after this post with human infield reaction speed on 100 and see how it plays.. Any thoughts?

anyone else's sliders showing up as "Custom-P" after the latest updates? wanna see if i've messed something up; it's so frustratingly slow to make the slider changes now that they don't number the slider scale argggh.

bigfnjoe, thanks a lot for taking the time to share these; not to mention the regular updates. definitely makes for a more enjoyable experience with this average-at-best game lol.

For everyone who still getting Custom-P. Are you resetting the sliders(RB Button) or trying to set them from where there are? I'm sorry if I didn't clarify this, but you should RESET the sliders(RB Button) Go to Legend & then start setting them from there. Beginning from the Far Left(O) If you do it this way, you should be fine

I will update my 1st post with these instructions. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
