I'll give it a shot. Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried the reverse slider principle with regards to stealing?

BFJ: Please post final sliders for us. We would be greatly appreciated.

Screw it, I'm going home on my lunch to test these out. I should be able to give some feedback in two hours or so.

Therizing, I just popped in your changes and it switched everything to Custom-P. Is that the way it's suppose to be?

Yes. Honestly, I never really paid to attention to whether or not it was P,A, or L. I just know that I like the results. I also thought that if the slider setting said 50, it was 50. I never thought there was a difference between 50P or 50A.

I agree w. ya on that. Well I just got 'em all punched in, I can probably squeeze in about five innings right now, let's see how it goes!

Funny. I have IE turned off and I'm getting plenty of walks.

Based on the above post, the sliders are not final, they are in testing mode.

Scott my most updated sliders on the 1st post of this thread. I will probably tweak a couple of sliders tonight based on the findings from Jistic & therizing02 around AI Skill & Pitcher Fatigue

I saw hardly any balls, let alone enough to draw a walk before turning it on. Go figure. Whatever works, I guess...

Just started a game against the Dodgers (5* speed) test BFJ's theory about smart hold and stealing. Not that it matters, but Chad Billingsley walked Weeks and Hart to start the game, then I pulled off a double steal. Maybe it will remind the AI that stealing is permitted in baseball!

EDIT: He also walked Braun to load the bases. He finished with 17B-8S in the inning...

I tried the " don't the hold runner" theory against the Mets. I intentionally walked Reyes three time (twice with two outs) and not only did he not take off, he didn't even take a bigger lead.

Here's hoping the patch addresses this. Pretty close to being a game killer for me.

Re: BFJ All-Star " Custom Total Control" Sliders

I played five innings w. the tweaks therizing has and really liked the feel of the game. It was only five innings so I'm not going to crown them as great yet, but the CPU wasn't hammering everything under the sun. But again, they felt really good.

I did Yanks/Mets at the Stadium, I was Hughes against Santana. It was 1-0 after five, A-Rod scored on a Cano double in the 2nd. Both pitchers had 5 K's, neither had a walk (I wasn't patient at all since I didn't have much time to play the game).

I saw some nice seeing-eye singles on balls that weren't rockets which was great and something I hadn't seen before. The fielders were scooping up almost everything but now the slower reaction time seems to have fixed that.

I'm definitely looking forward to playing several games on these, the only thing is that AI Skill may be a tad low (I was playing with it at 7) because the Mets couldn't touch Hughes' K-Curve. I honestly don't think they put it in play once. Not that that's a bad thing for me!
