Prince...I just kept them as is...i use classic swing too i just press the button pretty good results last game i had about 5 runs on 10 hits with KC..2 solo shots 1 triple 1 double and 6 singles that was about right....

I have no clue man, I haven't tried classic at all. You should give these a try with swing stick 2.0 though, I think you would really like them.

dan quick question...so on classic swing just pull back and let go...i dont need to direct my hits...its all in the timing??? i havent even entertained the thought of using it..thats why i asked how it goes?

In my games I feel like the cpu swings too often...I rarely have any deep pitch counts...

I think you meen swing stick 2.0 not classic swing as he says he doesnt use classic swing.
But for swing stick 2.0 you press back and then push forward to swing. There is no power swing either everything is based off the batters attributes.

That happend to me with i played Minn. mauer and morneau barely let me get to a damn 1-1 count every strike they swung at...though i was using someone elses sliders..but these are sweet i now know why he put the 100/100 take ball/take strike..plus i rearly throw strikes i like to nibble so i get a lot of balls anyhow

thanks for the update young buc... how are you hitting your homers? are you hitting your homers when the cpu throws meatballs? or some other way? Cuz I cant hit any homers with these sliders... I hit a lot of doubles tho

are you using the most up to date sliders I have posted on the 1st post?? They have AI Take Strike/Ball Overall at 100?? I cant see how you are have low pitch counts with the sliders set like this.

Here is some stats from the 2 games I played last night.
Both games I was the Reds at the Cards.
Game 1 I lost 9-3, I really struggled to get the cpu out. The cpu ended up with 16 hits and I had 9. Both teams hit 2 hrs.
Reds Cards
3 scor 9
9 hits 16
2 err 1
8 k's 4 (THIS IS HOW MY TIMES YOU K'D)

Game 2 I won 3-0 Aaron Harrang was a beast for me allowing only 4 hits over 8 inn. and K'ing 9. I hit a 2 run homer in the first with Dunn, I only scored 3 runs but I did have 12 hits. I just couldnt get a hit with runs in scoring position.

12 hits 4
1 err 1
4 K's 12 (THIS IS HOW MY TIMES YOU K'D)

Again you can see my stats are pretty decent, I can really dominate with Harrang and Arroyo but struggle with my 4th and 5th starters. Also besides my closer Cordero who is lights out (no earned runs in 10 inn. and 10 saves) my bullpen stinks!!!

I have finally settled on these sliders and will be starting my season over tonight or when Chris Nelson post his new roster set. I know I was pimping sfgiants sliders for awhile but the cpu offense was nonexistant with his set after I learned to pitch.
I have played 30 games with the Reds in my season I am going to call those games spring trainging games and start over with these new updated slider from Dan.

actually they both were 1st pitch homers i just pressed the button...verlander must of thrown them down the middle..i didnt do a replay to see where the pitches were i was just so damn excited i hit a HR...had the game a month hit 3 lmao!!! 2 yesterday lol

Looks good Jake, last night I was playing Cubs vs Brewers me as the Cubs and I got crushed in the 1st with Zambrano giving up 2 jacks and 6 runs. He didnt last 2 full innings and I was down 9-2. I was like damn maybe these sliders are giving to much offense to the CPU. So in the 7th I decided to just go to options and hit restart and started a new game right up same pitchers Zambrano vs Sheets and what do you think happened?? I preceded to have a 1-0 pitchers dual with Sheets and I lost on a sac fly in the top of the 9th by Hall. So in the span of 2 games with the same teams and pitchers, I had 2 completly different games and at that point I knew, I really have something with these sliders.

One other thing guys and this goes for both you and the AI. If you start to have an easy time hitting or not hitting enough the only slider you need to worry about adjusting is Batting Skill for both the human and the AI. Try moving it in 10 point increments at first then adjust in 5 point increments and find the sweet spot for it. I dont think you will be moving it above 50 so most likely you would be moving it down.

I played one game last night and beat the Braves with the Reds 12-10.
I hit 6 hrs!! And the cpu hit 5. Also I had 16 hits and they had 15, I really hope this was just one of those freak games. When I was batting it just seemed like the cpu was grooving every pitch down the middle. When I was pitching I was hitting corners but it just didnt matter the cpu was crushing every pitch.

funny you say that i played detroit and they beat me 1-0 in 14 innings with these same sliders lmao!!!! whats funny maybe this is what makes them really good because of the different type of results you can get

I hear you the game before I won 4-0 with Harrang throwing a 4 hit shut out.
I think this game makes the good pitchers too good and the bad pitchers too bad.
