Ok...I've played 3 games with these sliders, and have come up with 4 hits..combined! Have 1 no hitter against me (bedard). One 18 inning game that I lost 1-0. Not hating on the sliders, I'm hating on the game. Only way I can get a hit is if I set it to 100, for myself and the CPU. What a disastrous game.

Sorry you're not enjoying the game. These sliders might not be for you. I'd suggest trying the pro level and work your way from there.

Just played my first game with these. I was the Nats pitching with Gio and I was playing the Cards with Wainwright on the mound.

I hit a solo home run with Morse in the bottom of the 2nd.
St. Louis was hitting the ball hard but was struggling to get hits.
I scored another run in the 3rd after two infield errors.
St. Louis finally got on the board with a double off the wall from Freese and then a two run shot by Berkman.
Cards took the lead in the 6th with a 3 run homer by Freese (he lit me up after I struck him out in the first).
What really got me excited was that I hit a home run off of Mitchell Boggs with Rick Ankiel (58 contact 57 power).
5-3 at this point and that is how the game ended.

5 5 3 for the Cards and 3 5 0 for me.

Very fun game.

From all the roster work I've done, I've noticed that 2K put REALLY HIGH steal ratings for pitchers this year. Not sure why. I haven't seen anything like what you've noticed (yet).

Was it a ST game? They take out the pitcher early in them.

I think we're VERY close, if we're not there already. Just played an amazingly fun game:

Mets (cpu) at Pirates (me). I won 5-4. Trailed 2-0. Saw a crazy inning where the Mets made 2 throwing errors and my guys on base scored to tie it. Presley hit a 2 run homer to put me up 4-2. I scored another run on an RBI single to lead 5-2. Mets kept chipping away but Hanrahan shut the door.

Mets: 4 - 12 - 2
Pirates: 5 - 6 - 1

I hit 2 doubles and a homer. Mets hit 3 doubles. I chased Niese out in the 6th inning and McDonald struggled for me to get through 5 before I had 5 bullpen pitchers finish it out. FUN stuff!!!

Absolutely great stuff...I just finished my series against Texas in my chise. And the score ranges were varied just within that series. Two games where I lost by double digits, 1 game where I lost by 3 and a game where I won by 2 runs. The two games where I didn't lose by double digits felt close the entire way through and I had every chance to win those two games

I understand; thanks for the reply and the sliders. Although the Brewers are putting a beating on me (Reds), the sliders seem realistic and fun.

Game finished; 4-0 Brewers vs Reds(me). I was able to get players on base but just could not get them across the plate. Brewers had 1 HR (C. Hart). I never felt that I didn't have a chance. However, I was using total-control batting.

I'm making the switch to 2K after selling my PS3 and I see you do rosters and sliders for this game too. After using your NCAA sliders for and Show rosters for the last couple of years, I have confidence in these before I even try them.

Thanks in advance for the great games I'm about to have w/ these + your roster.

First time user of your sliders, and I'm excited to use them based on all of the positive feedback.

I'm currently in the middle of my first game using these sliders, I will post final results later. I must say though it's a strange game so far, but I'm having loads of fun. Again, I will update soon.

Second game I thought I was going to give up 50 runs the way it started.

Playing as the Sox with Buchholz starting against the Cards again this time with Carpenter on the hill.

Carp was killing me with his deuce. I could not lay a bat on that thing.

Cards scored 6 in the first two innings off of Clay thanks to homeruns by Berkman and furcal and rbi doubles from Schumaker and Beltran.

Buchholz settled down and didn't score another run until I took him out after the 6th.

Franklin Morales and Rich Hill held the Cards scoreless the rest of the way.

The only run I got was a solo homer by AGon.

One thing I did notice was I got thrown out from right on a grounder hit by Ryan Lavarnway.

I might try turning down cpu outfield throw speed a notch.

Another fun game though as I struggled to do anything.

played the finale of the opening braves series with control at 25. Beachy vs Niese

Braves 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 3 0. 4 r 11h 2e

I did a decent job handling beachy early, worked the count. got a run off him in the 4th with Duda. Uggla hit himself a solo homer the next inning to tie it. Niese lasted 6 then the pen came in. Acosta and Parnell took care of the 7, and despite a hit and error parnell walked freeman to get beachy up and got out of a jam. unfortionately Ramon Ramirez did not have his best stuff. Chipper who kills the mets, always, lifted a ball down and away over the wall. we did chances but couldn't break through until Ike Davis once ago hit a solo homer, first pitch of the 9th inning to opposite field. All in vain as we fell 4 to 2, and lost the opening series.

still not taking enough pitches but ill get better at it. despite using control 25 I only walked 1 batter but it was intentional. if it happens the next two games I may lower it to 20.


bourn had a legit triple was good to see other than that I contained him and prado, freeman killed me 4 for 4 with 3 doubles. I fouled off a million pitches it felt like but that's a good thing. I need to learn how to use my bullpen guys effectively, I dominate with starters and then all hell breaks loose. fun game I was very close to a rally in the 9th but no luck.


once again they had 2 throwing errors, and it looks like other people have the same experience I believe the mlb avg error per game is 0.5 so lowering cpu throwing error could be good

Based on feedback and what I'm also seeing, 4 new updates (page 1 - post 1) - Thursday, March 8, 10:45 pm:

1) lower USER PITCHER CONTROL from 25 to 15

2) lower USER OUTFIELD THROW SPEED from 50 to 40

3) lower CPU AI THROWING ERROR FREQUENCY from 55 to 50

4) lower CPU AI OUTFIELD THROW SPEED from 50 to 40

**All changes are noted in BOLD/RED ... Again, these are a BASE set. If you feel something is too hard or too easy, tweak to fit your needs. Each of us have different level of play. These are a hybrid of All Star and Legend settings, and some even harder than Legend. We want SIMULATION baseball, and that's the goal of this slider set. Thanks for all the feedback!

Thanks MK! I was wondering when your slider set was going to be up. I lowered the user pitch meter speed from 85 to 80, and might lower it to 75. I think at 85 it's just a teensy-bit too fast.
